| REVIEW | Who reads reviews for action figures? This "action" figure is like many other storylined action figures that DC releases; It's more like a statue than an action figure! The head swivels back and forth, the arms have joints at the elbow and shoulder (but cannot twist or reach sideways.) The legs can move forward and backward at the hip and knee, but not the foot - So basically, this figure was not built for 'action' and meant more for admiration. My only complaint (i'm not counting the above as a complaint) is the costume. The shade of 'gold' is more a dull yellow. Also - the crafting of the facial model does not really look like Booster, and the choice to make his goggles see-thru (very rare are they drawn see-thru) makes his face eveen harder to recognize. Lastly, by the end of '52' Booster went through another costume change which removed his excessively large collar and replaced with a more practical costume - I would have wished DC went with this design for the figure. Nonetheless, I love Booster Gold and this is a great 'statue' for any fan! |
