Album DescriptionAbba are following in the footsteps of The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson with the Number Ones concept, and we're assuming that the designation applies to charts from around the world. There are 18 songs on the album, but no Abba song ever hit #1 in Canada, 'Dancing Queen' was the only one to do it in the U.S., and seven singles did it in the U.K. So the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest winners must have made a major impact in a number of non-English-speaking territories. A collection of all the international #1 hits on one CD delivered to the Abba fans.
REVIEW
ABBA CD This product was as good as I expected. After seeing Mamma Mia I wanted to be able to continue to enjoy the great songs, and this CD provides me this opportunity.
The process of receiving the product however, was less than satisfactory, and I am not sure that I will be using Amazon.com anytime soon for my purchases. It took almost 2 weeks to receive the product and until the day before the product arrived I received very poor customer service. I do appreciate the customer service person that I spoke with the final time - he was VERY helpful and offered the refund of the shipping costs.

classic Abba i have always dug the coolness and laidback vibe of abba and these performances and whatnot take you back and are still fun and the music is still so good to the ears. they were a group that just hit and they made songs that felt so good to the ear drums. this is a must for Abba fans.
Album Description2 CD set. Features 31 tracks. Universal. 2006.
REVIEW
Always nice to see something new from ABBA, but.... This is just another repackaging job from the money spinners at Universal. The tracks are the 2001 masters used for thereissue of all the original albums, and if you have none of these, then you might consider buying this double set. The second CD however, while not being number one hits, are tracks 'taken' from number one albums. I have no problem with this, but running at a slim 43 minutes, when we all know CDs can hold up to 80 minutes, you'd expect they might have been a little more generous. After all, it's not as though there isn't enough material to fill up the disc. One can't help but feel that Universal are bleeding consumers. Given this, my advice is to wait until the price plummets, or buy itsecond hand. Not good value for money, and quite a few punters believe these tracks were specially remastered for this release. The offical ABBA Fan Club in the Netherlands confirm this is not the case - these are recycled 2001 masters. Not that this is a bad thing, but if you are expecting something spectacularly different from the 2001 reissues you will be disappointed.
