Overall this a balanced game. It has some really good strong points and some really bad ones. Running a Baja race, a flat tire is part of the action. Yet the way it's depicted is cheap and not well thought out graphically, as well as, it's arcade-like. A flat tire looks more like a tire out of balance which beats up the shocks butwhen you stop, it doesn't look flat at all. Add to that, you might expect a tire to fragment if driven on for 50 or more miles but in the game it actually runs better.
I've had to rerun so many races just to place top 3 that my XP points allow me to run in the highest bracket. Great you might think, but it's not. You have to buy your vehicles with your winnings. So you end up having to rerun the same races over and over to get enough money to buy a vehicle at the next level and the highest level of upgrades which equall or are more than the vehicle itself. To get first placein the races, you'll need those upgrades and also know where you can severly cut corners without penalty.
The next gripe is the camera control. It's okay in the in-vehicle modes, but external is not intuitive nor acurate.
In the end, I'm selling the game and getting Grid or Dirt.
