Great Solitaire Game I find playing a hand-held Solitaire game gets rid of my stress. This game is great because the numbers are big, the buttons easy to use, and it's back lit. The lighting is particularly wonderful if I can't sleep at night. I've played many Solitaire games where the numbers are way too small. And as silly as itmay seem, I like games where I can try to beat my best score. I've played Solitaire games where there's a high score and you can't get past that number. I enjoy this game and recommend it. The only negative is the battery use but I can easily live with that - as long as I keep AAA batteries in the house!
big screen solitaire hand held game I was looking for a hand held game for my mother that she could see with no trouble. You had it. She has trouble with her eyes and was having trouble seeing the other games. This one is great.
Hand held big screen backlit Solitaire game This replaced one Ive had for years and years. Ive had several hand held solitaire games over the past 8 years or so....and this large format is by far the easiest to see. My husband uses reading glasses and gave up on the smaller displays. I finally found this one online and snatched it up. It is, if anything, an improvement on the original. Im hooked. Couldnt live without this thing.
Almost impossible to win I have had the Radica big screen solitaire game about two months. I was forced into a new unit when my old game by another maker disappeared. The light no longer works and I have run the cards only two times. Almost all of the time I get no more than five or six cards up on a good run. I would never recommend this toy to anyone based on the poor odds of winning or even doing well. Children do not need to be exposed to this kind of frustration. I also find it almost impossible to see the suits and often make poor moves because I cannot see how many cards are left in a pile. The manufacturer should pull this product until all programming glitches are repaired.

Good Clean Fun A very good timekiller. (FreeCell is so much more a challenge than "regular" solitaire)Unit is well built. Big screen is nice to have, as is the automatic backlight. Despite its size and the light feature still only needs 2 aaa to run rather than 4 like one may expect. The buttons are easy to find, and comfortable and natural to use, even in dark situations. WHen playing with the sound on, I must admit the noises this little unit makes are actually pleasant to hear, rather than annoying and grating.
Definitely would recommend this product. Radica has been making quality electroninc entertainment my entire life, and this unit is definitely worth the price of admission.

A real marriage saver! This was ordered for my husband who spent hours in his office playing solitaire on his computer. Now he plays this at the kitchen table while I am cooking or on my computer. It is so nice to have him back with me! He finds it easy to operate, and easy on the eyes. Whenhe wears this one out, will definitely be ordering another, in fact, may do it before he needs it, just to be sure I can get it.
