An overlooked gem... Carnivores 2 requires a little patience and appreciation for suspense, but it repays those qualities with solid gameplay and substantial replay value. Even after you've bagged every dinosaur in the game, you'll want to find bigger and better examples for your trophy room. A variety of weapons and terrains helps keep things fresh, and aserviceable game engine makes tromping through the past a pleasant experience. The graphics are decent, and the sounds are even better. Overall, playing Carnivores 2 is akin to watching a really enjoyable "B" monster movie. A few lingering bugs detract slightly from the experience, but they're rather minor. Highly recommended to dinosaur fans that don't object to the hunting/shooting aspect of the game and to hunting fans that don't mind becoming the hunted!
