Lots of fun for 4 1/2 year old boy I had bought this for my 4 1/2 year old son for Christmas but ended up opening it early because we got bored one afternoon! We had so much fun going through the pages of the little booklet, completing castle after castle. He was better at it than I thought he would be, and he loved doing the harder ones and shocking me by doing it by himself. "LOOK MOM!!!" :o) The wood blocks are excellent quality, and they fit easily back into the box each time.

great educational game Great educational game. We received one as a gift. We loved it so much we have given them as gifts. This game teaches spatial relationship. It works its way from simple to a more difficult level. My 5 year old is quite interested in it, yet my husband and I play with it also! We accidentally spilled water on the instructional pattern book. But the pages look untarnished by all the water!

An excellent brain game! WOW, we are SO impressed with this game! It is a durable, one player game that keeps our kids so focused that they usually ask to do "just one more" when I need them to stop playing. They love the satisfaction of finishing a page and moving on to the next.
There are four levels (starter, junior, expert, master) with 12 puzzles on each level for a total of 48 puzzles. Our 6-year-old feels right at home with the starter level and our 8-year-old loves the challenge of the master level. All nine tiles and the booklet fit into a hidden compartment so everything securely stays together.
Whenever one of our kids is playing this "game" people always stop to ask how to play, where we got it, etc. Cat and Mouse has become one of our "signature" birthday gifts for the 6 to 8 year old crowd!

endlessly fascinating! I bought this game for my 7 year old daughter, thinking that my five year old would also be ableto play. What I didn't figure on was how often I would be drawn to it. This is a logic game which comes with many cards at all different levels, from pretty easy to very difficult. The idea is wonderfully simple, so even the youngest kids can understand the concept. Plus, it is all self-contained, so it is perfect for road trips. This has become my favorite Birthday gift by far, suitable for boys & girls of many ages. Highly recommended.

Perfect for the whole family For Christmas we bought this toy for my 4-year-old son who loves to "figure things out". Many levels exist to help rescue the princess (or in some cases, the knight). Each level builds on the logic learned in previous levels. Truth be told, when he went to bed, I was playing with it. It really makes you think... and it even allows for more than one solution to many of the scenarios. We loved it.

Fun game for preschoolers! As a mother of an active 3.5 year old, I too am always on the look-out for fun, educational games. "Bunny Hop" is definitely one of those games that engages young children, and best of all they are able to play by themselves [once they get the hang of the game]. No reading skills are required here, just a knowledge of colors [here, the colors used are red, green, yellow and blue].
Each player chooses a color, and then rolls the die - depending on which color comes up, the player then chooses the bunny that has the same color [as reflected on the die] and pushes it into the carrot patch. if the bunny hops [some hop, and some don't], then the player gets to keep the bunny. Though the game can have a few variations [and we even came up with our own rules], the one who gets bunnies in all 4 colors is the victor.
It is a simple game yet really fun especially since it doesn't require any complex skills. And it is a game that can be enjoyed with the family, or by the child independently. All in all, highly recommended. I also recommend the fishing game, Gator Golf and Candyland for preschoolers.

My new go-to gift for the 9-year-old and up set! We love this game! I bought it for my soon-to-be 9 year old daughter over the summer -- we stopped at a toy store to get some diversions for a long car ride home after a vacation. She absolutely loved it from the very beginning, and I am hooked as well. Just bought it for my 39-year-old brother for one of HIS birthday gifts and he is hooked! This is a terrific gift for both girls and boys. It's small, portable, and challenging...and it's not a toy that you will sneaking in the garbage can when the kids aren't looking!
