A Little Something For Everyone Whether you are into racing, hack n slash, fps, sim, or rts, there is a little something for everyone in this package.
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - Fun little game that is the sequel to hit game TTT. I never tried the console version (which is the same), but from playing on my computer nonstop, this is probaly the highlight of the package. It runs beautifully on a mid range comp and the gameplay is repetitive but fun.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert - Highly praised game from EA. Haven't tried it, but have heard great reviews.
Sim City 3000 - Takes time and patience and might be the weakest game in the box, but for the sim lover, it is a great beginners step to the almight SC4.
James Bond: Nightfire - EA's version of James Bond. You either hate their style of gameplay or love it. You be the judge.
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit - This game lags a bit on my system, but overall, it is a clean and polished game. Lacks that oomph, but still achieves.

DRM is bad for legit users Spore not only has a piece of software that runs in the background, but it only allows 3 installations EVER. The people out there that pirate games will find this a barely noticable speedbump on their way to pirating the game ANYWAY. The legit user that reloads PCs often is screwed.

It doesn't work I am going to make this short and sweet. If you are able to get the game to install properly and can play it,it's lots of fun. Very entertaining. However, it's amazing to me that after spending $70 on the Spore Galactic Edition and the Creepy & Cute Parts Pack, and wasting more than ten hours trying to install and run, the only version of the game I can get to run on my computer is a pirated copy I downloaded out of frustration!
So much for being an honest individual. I could have saved myself $70 and ten hours of my life I'll never get back. Thanks, EA.

Well, I am a very stubborn individual and just couldn't stop trying to install the game. I'm not a fan of having pirated software floating around my hard drive. So, I did some very creative variations on the uninstall/install process on my Mac. I FIXED THE PROBLEM I WAS HAVING.
After you uninstall, try shutting down and UNPLUGGING THE POWER CABLE from the computer for a minute, then rebooting and installing Spore. (I installed Spore, then the Creepy & Cute Pack, then ran Spore and let it update itself as it pleased. The game works great now, and hooray, it's a legal copy!
It sounds like Spore leaves information in the system's RAM under certain circumstances, and creates installation errors. By unplugging the power, you clear out the RAM completely and Spore installs cleanly...just a theory. ;)
I hope this helps some of you, who are stuck on splash screens or black screens or run out of sound halfway through the game!
Great Set This is a great set of games and I liked them. These games will be addictive for hours and hours. The only thing that I do not like about the set is that the set should have Need For Speed 3, not Need For Speed 2.
Good Pack for the price This Pack includes: NHL 2000 F1 2000 Superbike World Championship Sid Meier's Civil War Collection Sid Meier's Alpha Centaury Nuclear Strike Adventure Pinball Forgotten Island Sim Safari Simcity 2000 SE Championship Bass
If you buy only the Sid Meier's games you spend almost the same money that this whole pack costs, so do your maths.
One word however, be aware that this games are not supported in Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP, now again note the word "supported" some of this games indeed run on Windows XP if you download the patches from EA and/or run them in compatibility mode.
If you are using Windows 95, 98 or Me it's a sure bet.
Great Combo Pack 10 games on ten separate CDs. I liked five of the games and shared other disks with friends. The pack is a great value. Dune 2000, Theme Hospital (my 13-year old nephew thought this one was fun), and SIM Copter get played frequently. The pack also contains racing games, Tiger Woods Golf and Gettysburg.

Great for laptops I think people are missing the point of this game. If you are looking for the sims 2 then go buy the sims 2 and expansion packs. I bought this game because the sims 2 won't work on my laptop. This game works great!Yes, it is a really basic version of the sims, but thats what I needed. It does not slow down my laptop at all, and I can play whenever I like, not just on my pc.
For those wondering: This game is only 1 cd, not 4 like the regular sims 2. That should tell you right there how much less space it takes up on your laptop. I still have plenty of space to save my papers and notes for classes, and even install more games (I LOVE Zoo Tycoon as well).
The stories may be short or whatever, but I think people are completely misunderstanding what the creators were aiming for. Eventually I think these games will have expansion packs, and I am excited they have already launched a new website with a few downloads. In the future I am hoping for an exchange just like the regular sims 2 website has.

Best Madden yet Although not perfect, this is the best madden yet on next-gen systems. They definitely need to fix the challenge system for next year,but other than that it's totally playable for a change. The seller for this purchase was excellent. I received the game in 4 days in excellent condition just as they described it.
