Perfect for the whole family For Christmas we bought this toy for my 4-year-old son who loves to "figure things out". Many levels exist to help rescue the princess (or in some cases, the knight). Each level builds on the logic learned in previous levels. Truth be told, when he went to bed, I was playing with it. It really makes you think... and it even allows for more than one solution to many of the scenarios. We loved it.
Construct castles, block by block and tower by tower, as you flex your logic muscles with this beautifully crafted 3-D wooden puzzle. The challenge is to assemble the wooden blocks and towers into one of the castles in the puzzle booklet. With simple puzzles for inexperienced builders to complex puzzles that will challenge skilled ones, Castle Logix is designed to stretch a player's logical thinking skills and to develop spatial reasoning abilities. It includes seven durable wooden castle pieces and a full-color, illustrated booklet with 48 multi-level puzzle challenges. Made of smooth, high-quality wood, Castle Logix has the look and feel of a classic children's game.

Lots of fun for 4 1/2 year old boy I had bought this for my 4 1/2 year old son for Christmas but ended up opening it early because we got bored one afternoon! We had so much fun going through the pages of the little booklet, completing castle after castle. He was better at it than I thought he would be, and he loved doing the harder ones and shocking me by doing it by himself. "LOOK MOM!!!" :o) The wood blocks are excellent quality, and they fit easily back into the box each time.

Bingo with a Zing My four year old daughter received this game for Christmas and we've played it at least everyday since then. Zingo is a unique twist on Bingo that uses picture (and word) tiles instead of letters and numbers. One player is the dealer and calls out what the two tiles are (example: Panda, Cat) and the first person who has that picture on their card to call out "wins" that tile. This is where the game gets fun and in our case a little loud, with everyone calling out to try and get the tile before someone else. The first person who fills in their card and yells ZINGO wins. It's nice to havea lot of beginning reader words/pictures and the game cards are very sturdy and are two sided. The tile slider is easy to load -- even for kids. I hope that ThinkFun comes out with supplemental cards and tiles, as I could see that these tiles might get a little old after awhile.
My four year old and my seven year old nieces really enjoy this game -- the older girls don't think it's a "baby" game and my four year old is recognizing words and is "reading" like her older cousins. ZINGO is a great addtion for family game night.

REVIEW
Not much fun. We LOVE Hyper Dash so I thought I was safe buying another Wild Planet Hyper toy. This item is not that fun. I was very disappointed. There is just not much to the game. It is a little hard to hear the commands as well. It would be fun for kids ages 4 or 5, but for older kids (I bought it for 7 year old first graders) it is a little too easy. They played a couple games and went on to something else. And it is hard to put together and does not store easily because you do not want to take it back apart. Over all only fun for very little ones.

An excellent brain game! WOW, we are SO impressed with this game! It isa durable, one player game that keeps our kids so focused that they usually ask to do "just one more" when I need them to stop playing. They love the satisfaction of finishing a page and moving on to the next.
There are four levels (starter, junior, expert, master) with 12 puzzles on each level for a total of 48 puzzles. Our 6-year-old feels right at home with the starter level and our 8-year-old loves the challenge of the master level. All nine tiles and the booklet fit into a hidden compartment so everything securely stays together.
Whenever one of our kids is playing this "game" people always stop to ask how to play, where we got it, etc. Cat and Mouse has become one of our "signature" birthday gifts for the 6 to 8 year old crowd!

Buy glue when you buy this game This game is terrific. My daughter loves it. It kept her moving which is a need in the winter. However, the bases do not stay on the animals and the base of one of the animals broke within half an hour from my daughter playing enthusiastically. So we're gluing them back together.
