Seloc manuals the best! This was the first time trying seloc manuals,I have used clymers in the past and the selocs are organized much better and give a lot better info. From now on its strictly seloc manuals.

Review of Seloc Marine Manual This book is not worth the purchase price. It does not cover the steps in enough detail for the average person to complete the repairs. It shows Fig. (photos) that are confusing at best. I have used many repair manuals before and this rates at the bottom. I will not buy Seloc again.

More detailed information needed The first thing that I needed this book for was to replace a broken belt. The belt is in a difficult place to get at in the engine. This book does not even address HOW or The STEPS to replace this belt. I was dissapointed; however, the rest of the information in the book looks helful should I need to use it in the future.

I learned..... Besides being completly through on nearly every detail of my spcific engine, I learned doezens of useful and time saving techniques. Some of which I passed on to my mechanic and he too benefited from this book. I was able to feel confident in my mechanic, knowing what he was doing to my Engine and Why he was doing it...I never felt ripped off. I understood why each task and repair was performed. I feel i could have done the work myself if i had the tools.

Get ready to be disappointed This book is way too complex and goes into great detail on many procedures, but then does not contain any info on a guide of step-by-step basic maintenance. Will not do as a operations manual.
