Great toy My 2 yo likes this educational toy. I can write several of the words on her chalk board or point them out in a book and she correctly identifies the word. Unlike other toys we have with letters, there are lots of letters in case you lose one or two here and there.
The classic learning toy is better than ever. Shaped like a barn, See 'n Say teaches your child about 16 different animals and features two unique flipping pages. Kids can point the arrow and pull the lever, then flip the page for more animals to choose from. There is also a new quiz mode. It plays "Old MacDonald" and "Farmer in the Dell" melodies. It requires 3 AA alkaline batteries, which are included.

Small and overpriced I was expecting this toy to be the size of See N Says from my youth so the price didn't faze me....until I pulled it out of the box and it's less than half the size and very flimsy! My 18 month old gets very frustrated with the lever. If you don't get it down tothe very bottom, it doesn't play anything.
If you still want to give it a try, go to WalMart where I saw it for about $[...]. UGH!

Amazon.com ReviewThe gentle rhyming and gorgeous, tissue-paper collage illustrations in this classic picture book make it a dog-eared favorite on many children's bookshelves. On each page, we meet a new animal who nudges us onward to discover which creature will show up next: "Blue Horse, Blue Horse, What do you see? I see a green frog looking at me." This pattern is repeated over and over, until the pre-reader can chime in with the reader, easily predicting the next rhyme. One thing readers might not predict, however, is just what kinds of funny characters will make an appearance at the denouement! Children on the verge of reading learn best with plenty of identifiable images and rhythmic repetition. Eric Carle's good-humored style and colorful, bold illustrations (like those in The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Grouchy Ladybug, and Have You Seen My Cat?) have earned him a prominent place in the children's book hall of fame. Brown Bear's back! I remember reading this charming story to my own kids and also to my preschool class. Now it's been reissued in board book format, artistically illustrated, and every bit as enjoyable. This is a perfect book for teaching color and animal names, in a catchy rhyming format. Each page foretells what the animal and color will be on the next. Recommended for reading to babies and for beginning readers to tackle on their own.
Based on Eric Carle's children's books, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" and "Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See?," this game introduces children to the magic of story creation, while helping memory and sequencing skills. After players find all the animal cards needed for their sequence, they recite the popular Eric Carle stories they created. Includes a colorful game board, 4 bear cards, 32 animal cards and instructions. For 2 to 4 players.

Easy for little ones to play We bought this game for our son's 4th birthday. It's a very easy game to play so he caught on very quickly. However, it's just like any other memory type game and therefore, for adults, it can tend to get boring. The kids like it though.

Fun Game - Very Poor Directions This is a pretty good game, but the directions were very poor. My wife and I read and reread the directions for 15-20 minutes or so. There are several cards that just don't make sense. We played the game and it was fun, but it 'didnt feel right' because we werent really sure what to do in certain situations.
It must take a lot of effort to make a game like this. Wouldnt it make sense to have some people test it for playability before release?
A superb guidebook described in Bookwatch as 'the home astronomer's "bible"', Turn Left at Orion provides all the information beginning amateur astronomers need to observe the Moon, the planets and a whole host of celestial objects. Large format diagrams show these objects exactly as they appear in a small telescope and for each object there is information on the current state of our astronomical knowledge. Revised and updated, this new edition contains a chapter with ten new spreads describing spectacular deep sky objects visible from the southern hemisphere, and tips on observing the upcoming transits of Venus. It also discusses Dobsonian telescopes, with hints on using personal computers and the Internet as aids for planning an observing session. Also new tothis edition are redrawn "Guidepost" figures at the beginning of each season chapter that allow readers to visualize a three-dimensional view of the sky's dome; redesigned seasonal object layouts that provide more space for the naked-eye charts; a new spread on double stars near Boötes has been added to Spring, replacing the "Shrinking Double" spread; and a unique "When and Where to Look" table has been added to the last page, among other new features. Unlike many guides to the night sky, this book is specifically written for observers using small telescopes. Clear and easy to use, this fascinating book will appeal to skywatchers of all ages and backgrounds. No previous knowledge of astronomy is needed.
Mix and match to create a silly scene. Stacking and nesting develop understanding of spatial relationships and sequential thinking. Discover how the scenes farm, ocean, jungle and my backyard fit together.

TINY! There are no measurements for this product anywhere to be found so I ordered it thinking they would make nice storage boxes. They are way too small. The box they came in only measured 6 and 3/4 inches square. It's going back. =(

Great! My 5 year old son went to Kindergarten and was so frustrated with learning to write. I immediatly got on line to find something to help. I quickly found See N' Write with the demo on line. My son found it fun and for some reason became really attached to learning his letters. He has it on his desk and often I will hear it being turned on so he can practice his letters. Try the demo (do a search for the product) and see if your child would enjoy it. If so, order it. I wasn't sorry that I did and I don't consider it a useless toy or a waste of money. He's been using it since 4 months now.
