Slim, streamlined and elegant, just like your iPod touch I've been looking for a simple and elegant case for my iPod touch since I got it--no buckles, no clasps, no belt clip, just a clean and streamlined all-over slipcase that would protect the well-loved computer-in-a-clamshell iPod that's become my favorite electronic toy. Sena's Ultra Slim Pouch Case comes darn near to perfectly filling that need. It's a slender and sleek leather case, lined with soft velvet, that slips over the iPod touch. That's it, that's all--no unnecessary bells or whistles.
The Ultra Slim case fits both current generations of the iPod Touch--a bit too snugly at first, so snugly that an instruction card is included on how to wiggle the iPod out of the sleeve. Use the "squeezing the toothpaste from the side" approach! (Sorry iPhone owners, it won't fit the iPhone.) Within a couple days of use, however, the sleeve stretches and gives just that extra amount to keep the grip snug but easier to slide in and out.
That little extra bit of grip on the Ultra Slim is essential.Its simplicity of design means there's no access to the iPod touch's controls when you've got it in the case--want to skip a song, raise the volume, or stop it? You'll have to take it fully out of the case. This isn't a slipcase for the ultra-active iPod user, therefore; you'll want to try an alternative that allows access to the touchscreen like the DLO HipCase Leather Folio Case or the Speck PixelSkin. But for simple elegance and scratch protection, this is a classy solution.
My sole quibble? Hold the case up to the light and peer inside. You can see the light through the stitches that hold the case together; as you pull the iPod in and out you're slowly stretching out the stitches. I'm worried not only that some day the case will become loose and the iPod touch will fly out on its own, or worse, the threads will split, leaving me with two small pieces of velvet-sided leather. For the moment, however, it's holding up well and suits my needs. It's nice to get some envious looks for my case as well as for my iPod touch!

extremely tight out of the box, becomes normal overtime first of all make sure your ipod touch is 1st Gen if you're getting this.
when i first stuffed my ipod touch ( 1st Gen ) in it i couldn't take it back out literally that is how tight it was. i was afraid my screen would crack from the pressure ( no joke ).
mysolution was to stuff an object thicker than ipod in there and leave it in for a few hours after that it worked fine. but at first i almost returned it becuse it was downright ridiculous.
the overall quality of this product is FANTASTIC. it is extremely strong and durable, the stitching is nice, leather is nice, the padding and velvet inside are nice. everything is nice. except for the fact that you will barely be able to use it for the first week.
after some initial desperation i am finally very happy with this pouch. i doubt you can find one of better quality. very stylish. four stars because WAY too stiff out of the box.

Nice case, but not a good stand This is a high-quality, well-made case that looks good and will protect your iPod Touch well. The iPod itself fits snugly in the case, it's a good fit.
But this is not a good stand for viewing videos. The idea is that the strapwith the snap closure holds it in the stand position, but because of the reverse-stress on the snap, it usually unsnaps and the case flips completely open. Also, even if you can get the snap to stay closed while the case is in the stand position, the iPod is at a 90-degree angle to the surface on which it sits ... not good for viewing videos unless the surface is at chest-level or higher; definitely not good on an airplane tray unless you're an extremely small person.

Great Soft Leather Case for the iPod Touch I purchased this case for my husband as a Christmas gift and he was very pleased with the case. It is a high quality soft leather case. The case also functions as a "stand" so that you can prop the iPod touch up for extended viewing of videos. The snap can be a little bit tricky, but once it's snapped in, the stand is secure and does not come undone. I highly recommend this for the frequent traveler, as it would work great on a plane tray table. Anyone who uses their iPod touch for extended video viewing will definitely enjoy the stand feature.
