Good Long lasting Toy Wow, I bought this same exact toy at W**mart as one of their brands for under ten bucks reg price, but thats a different story. For the price I bought it I think its a great buy. I purchased it specificaly for when my 14 month old son and I go out. It keeps him busy in his stroller or play at a table if we're out eating. Yes like any other toy it can get to us parents but it works keeping him entertained for longer period of time then other toys. I like the fact that it folds just like a laptop you can carry it in your hand by the handle. Pretty cute too, with different instruments and animal sounds and colorful screen with numbers and pictures. Not too loud or obnoxious. Also, I must add that its also very durable my son drops it million times a day and still works like brand new. My son loves it, we use it every day.
This cheerful fire engine truck will provide a light and sound adventure for your little firefighter. Lights flash and sirens roar as you push the toy along. The ladder rotates and extends while the fireman sits comfortably inside. Seven sound keys on the side of the truck keep little fingers busy: horn, ringing telephone, rotating ladder, fire hose, siren, engine starting and engine stopping. 2 "AA" batteries required (not included).

Editorial ReviewNeed some help with those tricky multiplication tables? This simple educational tool helps kids develop math skills by giving them an easy learning guide. Designed as a simple grid of square plastic buttons, nine across and nine down, each button in the keyboard represents an individual multiplication problem. Push a square--4 x 5, say--and the correct answer magically appears--20! Kids can test themselves, or take turns with parents or friends to make a game of it. A great plus: no moving parts or batteries. Measuring 9 inches by 8.5 inches, the keyboard is made of durable, lightweight plastic, easy to take on a trip or tuck in a backpack. --Marianne Painter

Who said you need batteries to have fun As a parent I soon realized pot and pans and cardboard boxes can be a lot more fun than some of the fancy gadgets with bells and whistles I have and continue to buy. This toy defies gravity as my son has tossed them around the room a couple of times and they keep on ticking. This combination of train and airplanes is all my son needs to keep him in his crib for an hour without making a peep. Well he also needs the dump truck version of these and his stuffed animals but they work. My only complaint is the magnets did not the same direction on the planes and the trucks I bought separately. This frustrated my two year old to no end. I was able to switch them with a screw driver, but the helicopter only goes one way the rest could be turned. So I had to do it twice. I would do it again as this is a winner in the clutter of beeping talking and other wise annoying toys. The girls love them to because they seem to not get enough "vehicles" and this one is so fun to push and pull.
An extra large shovel for sand play. Made of sturdy plastic. Assorted colors only.Age: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 Manufacturer: Small World Toys Dimensions: 21"L

I expected more than 1 shovel I am not really complaining but the add and the heading indicated that I would receive more than 1 shovel. The shovel is big and sturdy but no "sandbox toy" beside the shovel was in the box.
Interesting, but shapes do not fit nicely into container I own a very similar toy, with the same set of features including 4 Quick Change Critters. It's a dump truck instead of a cement mixer. I got it for my 17mo old son. He likes the sound effects, although he expects the truck to move like his other push-n-go cars, and it does not. The Critters are a cute and inventive approach, one problem being that the Circle shape is so quick to change into a bird that my child has trouble pushing it thru its hole. My only real complain is that the shapecontainer is too small for the Critters! It is impossible to push all 4 shapes inside without rearranging them (by an adult).
When kids have a big job they turn to the Big Dig. This sturdy 4-wheel constructor really digs and piles up the dirt! Bring inside for a fun way to pick up toys in the bedroom! All steel construction and easy to use control handles make the Big Dig king of the construction site. Ages: 5 + Manufacturer: Small World Toys

REVIEW
Toy Violin This is a great toy violin, we bought it for our 20 month old so he would have one to play when our 4 year old practices her suzuki violin. It has proven to be a great toy for all ages. One feature, allows the player to use the bow to the tempo of an existing song (say, Vivaldi) and thus, learning the timing and rythm. This was a great toy- I wished I had bought it 2 years ago. It has a volume control of loud and less loud, and also has an off switch (which is crucial).
