fun backstory that is part of Episode 2.. this film seems to take place around the events of Episode 2, and fills in the character of Count Dooku for the viewers. Here we have sort of a backstory on him and his relationship with the soon-to-be Evil Emperor, which will eventually create the Imperial Republic.
In the feature film Episode 2, "Attack of the Clones", the Count didn't have a lot of screen time, and therefore his character was a bit under-developed. Here, we get to see his partnership with the Emperor and how it will set the stage for the events in Episode 3, "Revenge of the Sith". It helps to "fill in the gaps" that were left out of Episode 2.

Join the Grand Army of the Republic Preparing for your first mission as a Clone Trooper is quick and easy. Before you assemble the helmet, adjust the straps on the insert to fit your child, then snap it into place. We had to try several times before the two back pieces and the front of the helmet snapped together neatly. Once we got the three pieces aligned correctly, they attached securely, producing a sleek, sturdy helmet. The three "AA" batteries that power audio features come already installed.
Featuring realistic details, including a tinted visor, a crest on top, and clone-inspired colors, this durable, plastic helmet has three buttons on the right side that prompt five different sayings from the Clone Wars TV show. A button that issues radio static keeps communication interesting, and commands like "Cover Me!" and "All units fire at will!" add a quick adrenaline rush to any battle. Plus, there's a voice-modulator microphone so kids (and adults) can issue their own statements in a cool clone voice.
Experience Intergalactic Role Playing Whether part of a Halloween custom, an everyday role-playing game, or a display in the ultimate collector's bedroom, this Clone Trooper helmet brings home all the excitement of Star Wars. We were floored by the accuracy and durability of its construction. Plus the tinted visor was much easier to see through than we expected, as long as the helmet was sized correctly.
The size and weight that make this helmet so realistic and durable did cause us to worry about how easy it would be for smaller children to wear. It's true that the straps inside adjust to fit small heads, but that doesn't prevent the size of the helmet itself from being awkward. Similarly, the microphone is adjustable, but it can still be stuck too far away from a small child's mouth. This means that the helmet has to be lifted by hand to speak through the microphone.
When it's positioned close enough to the wearer's face, the microphone does a good job amplifying statements and commands, as well as providing the static you'd expect from a clone. It's ability to truly modify and deepen a voice is less reliable, although this doesn't really detract from the fun. Overall, it's hard to beat a toy that encourages active, imaginative play the way this helmet does. Even adults who are loyal to the original trilogy are likely to enjoy slipping the Clone Trooper helmet on and taking part in the struggles of the Republic.

Star Wars X-Wing This toy was difficult to find so I was pleased when Amazon.com had one. It was bought for my grandson and he was thrilled. There's seldom any to be found so Amazon made a dream come true.
New Clone Wars TV Game plugs right into your TV for instant game playing action. Grab your blaster and join the Clone Wars battles as you blast away battle droids in the fight for the right side of the force. Requires four "AA" batteries, not included.

Okay for a low price but not for HD TVs This is a nice alternative for expensive video game systems for what it is. Of course, the graphics do not compare to an entire gaming system, but for something simple, it does the job. Unfortunately, this does not work on HD tvs so one of the recipients that I gave this to couldn't play it at their house.
When the Empire is on the march, the Rebels fight back. The Rebel Scout Speeder is ready for action with a detachable rotating heavy blaster cannon and a crew of four Rebel troopers straight from the Star Wars movies. Blaster cannon detaches from vehicle and rotates in all directions! Rebel Scout Speeder measures 6" long. 82 pieces.

Fun Little Star Wars Lego Set! Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R28RH6VYGLWA81 A review of the LEGO Star Wars Rebel Scout Speeder. It's been a fun little toy for my little boy. He took it with him everywhere the first few days we had it. Little pieces do come off pretty often so it may not be the best Lego set for younger children.
Amazon.com ReviewWhether he's an aspiring Jedi or an apprentice to the dark side, your child will love the possibilities of this Star Wars Clone Wars Ultimate Light Saber Assortment. Movie fans six and up will delight in customizing the hilt, blade color, and end cap to approximate Yoda, Mace Windu, or Maris Brood, while lights and sounds add an authentic element to any battle. Small parts keep this light saber from being appropriate for children under three.

May the Force Be With You Whether your child is a fan of the new Clone Wars animated film or the original trilogy, this light saber, with its light up blade and electronic sounds, is sure to be a hit. Its sturdy plastic components in gray, black, and gold, three colored crystals, and telescoping blade can be combined in over 1000 different ways to create a customized battle weapon. And since part of the fun is in thinking up ways to combine the pieces into a customized weapon, there's no time-consuming adult setup.
You'll need a Philips head screwdriver to insert three AA batteries (not included), and you may want tohelp young users put the color crystals in the first time around, so they know how to change them later on.
Imaginative Play that Spans Distant Galaxies One of this light saber's top features is the way it emits different sounds along with a different color light inside the clear plastic blade depending on what Ilum crystal or crystals are inserted in the handle. Choose the classic Jedi green, blue, Sith red, or combine crystals to achieve an effect like the violet light saber Mace Windu uses. Star Wars fans will immediately recognize the powerful humming noise that indicates a light saber ready for combat. And the variety of clashing sounds that the unit makes when the blade comes in contact with any sturdy obstruction is sure to thrill.
While too much rough play can take a toll on any toy, the construction behind this light saber seems sturdy and well thought out. Adults and kids with larger hands may find the hilt sits more comfortably in their grasp without the custom handles over it.
Overall, we had loads of fun creating a custom look, practicing crafty moves, and fighting off imaginary enemies with this light saber. Since the colored blade effect is achieved by projecting light into the clear plastic blade, playing with this light saber in a dark or dimly lit room provides extra drama and an increased dose of fun.
Because this toy calls forth an epic battle between good and evil, we imagine that having a playmate with a second light saber would increase the fun exponentially.
What's in the Box Hilt, blade, 3 colored crystals, 4 hilt sleeves, tonfa handle, 4 end caps, 3 sleeve rings, blade-emitter guard, and an instruction booklet.
REVIEW
Star Wars Ultimate Light Saber - GREAT TOY! I bought two of these light sabers for my 6 & 7 yr. old grandsons for Christmas and they absolutely love them. The older boys, aged 12 & 14 liked them just as much and now they want one also. They have been playing with them almost constantly, changing the configurations and having light saber duels almost since they got them. They did need help assembling them at first. So, an adult or older boy helped assemble them for the younger boys at first, but once they saw how and got the hang of it, they can now do most of it themselves. All the kids, and some of the dads, have enjoyed playing with them. One light saber is fun, but it's even more fun when there are two or more so they can have dueling battles. It's fun and a very versatile, well made and durable toy. So, I would definitely recommend this toy for boys young and old alike.
The new Millennium Flacon might well be the ultimate Star Wars toy. This famous spaceship can now seat 18 characters (including four in the cockpit, just like the movies), has a medical bay, auto-ramp, smuggling compartments, gunning station, Jedi training probe, Devarik table, and lots of lights and sounds. Hasbro. Ages: 6+

The Minifigs are the Point here This is a small LEGO set that doesn't take very long to put together. The primary reason I see for buying it would be because it comes with 4 stormtrooper minifigs, which is a lot for an 81 piece set. I'm pretty sure that was lego's strategy with this set (to have an excuse to sell more minifigs).
Do NOT pay more than $[...] for this set, as that is how much you can get it for in any store.
Blasting out of the new Clone Wars TV series, it's Anakin Skywalker's customized Jedi starfighter! Fight the forces of the Separatists and the Dark Side with flick-firing missiles, retractable landing gear and an ejection button for R2-D2. Includes R2-D2 and new Anakin Skywalker minifigures. 153 pieces.

a very good set I never watched The Clone Wars(and do not want to), but this particular model from that cartoon got my attention, simply because it is almost identical to another set I always wanted(but it is too expensive). The ship looks very cool, it doesn't feel like falling apart and it is just the right size for its price. Simply put it-it is a great set for a Lego Star Wars enthusiast(like me)(laughs).
