A rare RPG gem in a sea of mundane. Way before they went overboard on stupid gimmicks with Super Paper Mario, but after they learned their lessons on what worked and what didn't from Paper Mario, we have the Thousand Year Door. The pinnacle, in my opinion, of the Paper Mario series. I'll simplybreak the game down into bite-size chunks:
Story: This is a far different story than the typical 'Bowser' is the main villian mythos. You are sent to a vastly different land that is the polar opposite of the bright and cheery Mushroom Kingdom. You are sent to investigate the disappearance of Princess Peach and the reason why she asked you to Rogueport to find a 'treasure.' The treasure is rumored to be behind a door that's been shut for a Thousand Years, sealed by seven crystal stars. The final end result of the story is something more deadly and terrifying than Bowser could ever be. Although he does make frequent appearances as comic relief.
Sound/Music: Improving upon the previous title in every way, the game remixes old tunes and comes up with fresh new ones for almost every area. Nothing ever gets repetative and everything suits well to the area it plays for. The sounds are also top notch and don't detract from the overall presentation.
Controls: After a few minutes of adjusting to the controls and literally being thrown into a battle 2 minutes of starting the game, you should slip right into a grooveand have no complaints for the rest of the game.
Gameplay: This game has it in spades. There is simply so much to do not only in the secret-encrusted city of Rogueport, but in all the individual areas and towns you will visit. There are so many badges, star pieces, hidden question blocks, trade sequences, help quests, side quests, and mini-games that you won't be bored for a long time. The difficulty of the game is on the moderate side, nothing that you can't complete with a small amount of time spent for level grinding, which is a good thing. Only downside is that some of the help quests can be a bit mundane and boring having you travel back and forth multiple times through the same areas to complete it. Beyond this gripe, which is purely optional and not intended to be completed to finish the game, this game is very innovative, genius, funny and good in all aspects.
A highly recommended game for all RPG fans out there and Mario RPG fans in particular. Especially now since the Wii can play Gamecube games, there is no reason not to pick this up and pop it in the Wii for a great time. Don't rent, simply buy, it will be worth your money.

My Opinion of SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL I think it's the best game for the Wii. I like that it's like the other versions but is new, exciting, and different. Another reason is that it's challanging and adventure mode is fun because you have to save the world from bombs that are like black holes and fight things along the way but it is totaly different than battling, so if you don't like battling or think it's boring you might like this mode and has 50 files.
Amazon.comThe Wii Nunchuk controller is a secondary controller that adds even more innovation to the next generation of gaming, and does it all with less physical movement.
Used in conjunction with the standard Wii remote, certain games need the Nunchuk controller for additional control options. Contoured perfectly to fit a player's hand,
The Wii Nunchuk (left) connects directly to the Wii remote. View larger.
the Nunchuk controller builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller. The Nunchuk contains the same three-axis motion sensor found in the Wii Remote, but also includes an analog stick, and two buttons to help assist in character movement.
Many games will allow you to control your character's movement with the Nunchuk in your left hand, while your right hand is free to execute the action movements with the Wii Remote. For example, the Nunchuk is particularly useful for games like Wii Boxing. You can use the Nunchuk to punch with your weaker hand, while you use the Wii remote to punch and jab with your predominant hand.
Take the fun to the next level with two-handed control of your games. View larger.
In first-person shooters, the Nunchuk controller carries the burden of movement, freeing you to aim and fire using a more natural motion with the Wii Remote. In a football game, you can make your quarterback elusive with the Nunchuk controller while you search for an open receiver to throw to using the Wii Remote. Serious gamers may even want to use two Nunchuk controllers to gain a fierce competitive edge.
Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. Perfectly suitable for either right or left-hand use, the Wii Nunchuk controller grants accessibility not often seen in previous game controllers.
Also, the Nunchuk controller doesn't need its own power--it plugs into the Wii Remote controller when it'sin use. So there's no need to worry about charging or replacing expensive batteries.
Adding a Nunchuk to your Wii system will definitely help you open the doors to the next level of gaming, and seriously step up performance. Just be careful not to knock out your significant other, or bruise the dog, severely, while using one, or two Nunchuk controllers.

Addictive and fun, but beware, list price is less than fifty bucks This is a video game made for earlier Nintendo consoles and adapted to Wii. It is an excellent fun game but the buyer should be aware that it does not involve physical activity like games made specifically for the Wii. It's nice to take a break and sit down to Mario Kart, but I usually end up doing a few races and then going back to Wii sports (still the best) or Wii fit.
I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because the on-line setup and connections are klunky. To register your Mii's with a friend over the internet, both must be on-line at the same time. And once you're officially "friends", it is still difficult to get logged in to play a game together. The Wii servers are usually busy with other games. This feature is not well supported.
When an evil darkness enshrouds the land ofHyrule, a young farm boy named Link must awaken the hero and the animal within. When Link travels to the Twilight Realm, he transforms into a wolf and must scour the land with the help of a mysterious girl named Midna. Besides his trusty sword and shield, Link will use his bow and arrows by aiming with the Wii Remote controller, fight while on horseback and use a wealth of other items, both new and old.

Link's journeys, reinvented Hailed by many as the best Zelda game since 1998's Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess thrusts players into a troubled world ravaged by a dangerous magic. Sporting a new, more realistic visual style than the previous Zelda title, Link looks much more like an adult than in previous installments and fits well into an environment that provides Zelda fans with a much more gritty and grim environment to explore. The entirety of the quest fits this darker mood, as both Link and NPC's alike share the same concern for the changes about in Hyrule.
More than just a spiritual successor to previous Zelda installments, Twilight Princess offers players a new way of controlling Link through dungeons, forests, towns, and the bizarre Twilight Realm: precise weapon controls with the Wii remote! Players can use the remote to control Links' weapons including the sword, arrows, and boomerang. This new control scheme allows for much faster and more accurate control than on previous Nintendo hardware. For example, waving the remote in the air will result in Link performing the same move with the sword. To fire off on arrow, players "pull back" on a virtual controller string as the Wii remote's speaker lets players know that the projectile is ready for release. It all works incredibly well and adds to the title's immersion and style- you feel more in the center of the action than in previous Zelda games.
As impressive as the new control scheme is, the scope and size of the new land of the Hyrule is equally as impressive- truly the Wii's first epic adventure. Beautifully crafted and four years in the making, the land players travel through is vast and diverse as the dungeons and monsters that lie within. As players collect triforce pieces from the distant sections of the continent, they will get to know many different villages and foes. Thankfully, Link will be able to move over long stretches of land faster thanks to "Epona," your faithful horse. Epona also helps Link become a more effective fighter, as a number of powerful and impressive sword strikes can be launched while galloping through fields of enemies.
The Twilight Realm awaits Like most games in the Zelda franchise, Link begins his adventure with little more than the clothes he has on an an inkling that something has gone awry. After an initial trip to the Twilight Realm, in which Link appears as a wolf, a friendly shadow dweller named Midna will meet up with players and give helpful advice on gameplay. Fortunately for players, this virtual assistant spells out ways to be a more effective adventurer in and out of the shadow world. Early stages of the game have Link spending a lot of time in the Twilight Realm, and outdoor areas of Hyrule, attempting to clear areas of the strange darkness that has seemingly fallen over every village, forest, and field. As the story progresses, players will learn the cause of the shadows, and what they must to do vanquish them for good.
Puzzling puzzles Link once again finds himself in a number of classic Zelda-esque puzzle scenarios in which he must light torches to unlock doors, raise and lower water levels, and fight enemies to collect keys and open chests for valuable rupees. A number of the dungeons present unique puzzle challenges that rely on the player's ability to hone their Wii remote's control, such as an air castle in the sky that can only be accessed by an extremely accurate grappling hook toss.
In general, Twilight Princess is more challengingthan the average Zelda game, with a number of boss battles having protracted hit sequences with little support potions about, and even less warning. Still, there's never been an adventure experience such as this, wherein players can literally charge at a dungeon boss with their fists and punch the air to defeat an enormous foe. As the finest Zelda experience in almost ten years and the game fans have been waiting for, Twilight Princess will delight young and old gamers alike.
