Safe Riding Horse This is a great horse for toddlers. The fact that it is not wooden is great because it's nice and soft. The "rocker" part of the horse is a durable plastic; the only downfall is it's very slippery and when my daughter rocks on it it tends to travel with her. The horse plays music and sings....VERY LOUDLY. The volume tends to be so loud that it scared my daughter so I pulled the batteries out. I would recommend this product to a friend and will be purchasing one for my other daughter when she gets old enough. :0
Legend the spring horse by Tek Nek My Grandson loved this horse. I also purchased the Lucky horse. I noticed that many of the reviewers who did not have a 5 star review of Lucky did not understand where the battery pack is located. I wrote another review on the Lucky Horse saying it is underneath but I failed to tell you underneath what. I appologize for this oversight. The battery pack is located underneath the mane on the horses neck. If you use 3 batteries you will not get the full affect of the horse so 4 AA batteries are required. If your horse doesn't make a sound upon arrival you must install the batteries. Neither of our horses came with the batteries even though it said the batteries were included. In putting the horse together, you must carefully follow the instructions. I hope this helped to clarify where the batteries are located in the horse. Also if you dont want the horse making a sound everytime it is bumped, you can put it on the middle switch setting and it will only make the noises if the ears are pressed.

Decent Purchase Purchased this product on a whim for my [...] daughter. She loves it.
Assembly was a simple 4 bolt (medium phillips head)installation. Took 3 minutes. Product appears made with durable material. The rockers (bottom) are plastic and will not scratch hardwood floor. However, just be sure to assemble the bolts properly (the plastic heads are angled to fit the angle of the rocker bottom).
Some people have complained of the volume (each ear of the Pony has an activator for sound). I have found no such problem. However, it does get annoying over time.
I paid [...] for the toy and believe it was worth the price.

Rock 'N Ride Rocks for a 2 yr old! My son is 2 years old and he jumped right on his new horse and rode it for 15 minutes - that is a long time for my son to play with one toy. He likes the soft coat of the horse, so I do recomend this spring horse over the hard plastic horses that are also for sale. The talking feature does intrigue my son, he sings along with the horse as he rides and he likes to feel the horse's mouth move when he sings. Now, for the dads... this horse is not that hard to assemble. The four metal bars fit together to make a solid frame with eight bolts and from there, it is just a matter of putting the wood rodes and springs on the horse. The instructions are well written and you should have no issues. I'd say it took me 15 minutes, and that is with my son's help so you should be able to do it by yourself in 10 minutes. This horse seems to be well made and all the parts appear to be quality. I don't have any hesitation in recomending this toy.
What Fun!! My two grandsons 3 & 1, this was there favorite Christmas present!! And still is in March. Its safe, fun, and the horse talks and hehs! A great item for the money!
The fun really takes off for preschoolers when they climb on this Elmo-themed ride-on. Slide right into the pilot's seat, and Elmo is waiting as your co-pilot. Turn the propellers on the wings for a cool ratcheting sound. Push the propeller button or the green buttons on the steering wheel to watch the propeller spin around and light up. The plane's eyes move and its entire body lights up as well! On the steering wheel, slide Elmo in his airplane to hear fun phrases, or turn the gearshift or the key for more sound effects. Requires 3 "AA" batteries, included. Measures 24"L x 19"W x 13"H. Holds up to 65 pounds. Assembly required. Adult supervision recommended.

interesting, but some design concerns my one-year-old grandson had difficulty making this toy move because of the deign, despite the fact that he was already walking. he loved the sounds and the fact it was an Elmo toy. it should be noted my grandson is also large for his age.
