The InCharge charging station is the only solution that works with the Nintendo Wii with the silicon skins on the remote. Includes two Lithium Polymer battery packs.

Didn't work
I purchased this as a Christmas gift. The directions said to place battery packs on the charger for 5-6.5 hours; the charger is supposed to flash once the batteries are charged. After 8 hours, the lights never flashed indicating that charging was completed. I contacted the manufacturer, and they told me to charge the batteries for 24 hours; use the batteries until they are drained and try recharging them again. They said that that should reset the batteries. We followed the directions and the batteries still won't charge. We contacted the manufacturer again and they immediately told us to return the item to Amazon.

Customer Service was very responsive and nice to deal with. I'm sorry that the product was non-responsive. I haven't decided if I'm going to try for a second unit or not.

Charge your XBOX 360 Remotes with greater reliability! Rechargeable battery packs are a great money saving solution and more environmentally friendly than standard batteries. InCharge for XBOX 360 eliminates having to slide off the battery cover of your controllers then try to pull out the dead batteries and throw them away. The InCharge is superior to other rechargeable solutions. There are no contacts to get dirty or break. You do not have to take the battery pack off the remote to charge it. The batteries are charged inductively through a sealed plastic case.Improperly charged controllers will no longer frustrate the user. Other chargers require you to take the battery pack off the remote and carefully place the battery pack upon a base with the contacts touching. If they aren't seated properly, if they aren't clean, you don't get a charge. Kids don't always wash their hands before they pick up their game system remotes. Sweaty hands and snacking can lead to dirty contacts that eventually cause other solutions to stop working. InCharge is a sealed unit. InCharge keeps on working and charging your remotes as it should, and is easy to keep clean. When you're not using it, simply place the controller on the inductive base (no metal contacts). You will see the charging light brighten that's it. Your remote is charging. When the indicator light starts blinking, it is 100% charged.

Excelent product, Easy to use for the kids!!
I bought this to keep from changing the batteries for my son's x-box controllers, my son loves it, there are no contacts or removing the batteries, Just set the controller in the stand and it charges!!! Best buy of the year for me, Just wish it had come out sooner!!! Also made the controller lighter since it came with two lithium batteries.

The InCharge for PS3 will work with both the DUALSHOCK3 and the newly designed SIXAXIS wireless controllers. It allows the user to easy recharge the controllers without having to plug them in or worry about plugs failing or metal contacts lining up. There is also a pass through USB connector so you can plug it in and play if the battery is running low while you are playing.

Very cool idea with possibly a slight problem
For those of you who are annoyed by the fact the PS3 will not charge your controllers when powered off, this is the perfect accessory to solve you problem and does away with the mess of attaching wires to the PS3.

First off I'd like to say this is a very cool idea with a great design.
This charger comes with an adapter that clips onto the PS3 controller and allows thecontroller to charge by just resting on the base. A little hard to explain but I'll try:
If you've every owned an electric toothbrush you may recall the toothbrush charges without any metal on metal contact - it charges through the plastic casing. Well this is the same principal behind this charger.

The charging adapter for the controller plugs into the USB port on the top and wraps around behind with a swivel clip hooking to the bottom.
The design allows you to use the controller with the charging adapter attached and does not interfere with the grip. It's light enough that the adapter does not throw off the balance of the controller.

The adapter also has a usb port so you can still plug the controller into the PS3 to charge it that way as well.
Another cool part of the design is the controller sits upright when placed in the charging station which is rare since the usb port is on the top and most chargers require you to invert the controller.

Potential Problem:
Now I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to Incharge here and assuming the problem is with thecontroller and not the charging unit.
I have two dualshock controllers (one that came with my PS3 and one bought individually) both bought in Sep 2008. One of the controllers does not charge - not sure which one came with the PS3 since both are identical. However both controllers charge properly when connected to the PS3 or usb port on computer. I tried alternating adapters and alternating the docks but no luck. I even tried hitting the reset button on the back of the controller and reassigning the controller number on the PS3. So I'm a little confused as to why one of the controllers is not charging.

I don't think I have a valid point to warrant returning the controller since everything on the controller works and the controller does charge via the PS3.

Hopefully you will not encounter the same problem as I did. If it wasn't for this issue I would highly recommend this product and give it a perfect score.

BTW Incharge also makes these charging stations for the Wii and XBox. I'm not sure if the principle is the same.
