REVIEW
Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Crystal, Gem & Metal Magic I was pretty disappointed with this book. While there is some information in it, I found it to be lacking. There are SO many stones with SO many uses. I had hoped that more would have been covered. Also the book had few pictures. I would not recommend this book.

REVIEW
Questionable Pictures Sometimes This is overall a very good crystal and gemstone book. Much of the information meshes well with Melody's books and I like that they identify which chakras each stone works well with. It's easy to navigate and designed well. However, some of the images that they chose to represent the stones are really not good, in fact, some of them barely look like any specimen I've ever seen of the stone and are not good for identification at all.

1st Edition same as 2nd Edition and a lot Cheaper Buy the 1st Edition and save yourself thirty bucks.
It's got the same cover (but a different color), the same number of pages (506 pages) and is as far as I can tell, the exact same book. I'm tired of "edition inflation." Buy the first edition and save yourself a lot of money.
Amazon.com ReviewThe most diverse, enjoyable, and thought-provoking encyclopedia on language. Though not an alphabetical encyclopedia, the coverage of the 65 thematic chapters is encyclopedic--ideal for anyone interested in words, speech, writing, and thought, and certain to be a continual point of reference for any writer for years to come. Very Highly Recommended.

A good Encyclopedia of language Indeed ,David Crystal is a great and famous linguist of this century .His books about language are very important for students and common readers .His book "What is linguistics "is a good book for students ,but this book is important and informative for all people with scholars .There are several useful mapes and tables which guide a reader to understand the different family of languages.
I am siraiki speaking person .It was natural for me to read about my language, but Crystal is not aware about Siraiki language .He wrote its very old name Lahnda .I hope he will correct it in next edition
Internationally acclaimed, this Best-Selling Metaphysical Mineralogical Encyclopedia describes over 1400 minerals and crystals illustrated with over 1400 color photographs. This final text in the Love Is in the Earth series and THE Last Testament has been prepared with love JUST FOR YOU by Melody.
This encyclopedia is meant to take the reader on an intimate journey into the subtle realms of crystal energy, assisting one in developing a loving affinity with crystals. The minerals in the photographs have not been enhanced, reflecting them as they are naturally. Many of these minerals have been reported previously in the Love is in the Earth series; within this encyclopedia, all of the new and/or updated information for the old minerals, and all of the new information for the new minerals is reported.

THE crystal book! This is the book all crystal healers have been waiting on! It combines all of Melody's books into one, giving us one quick reference. Many new stones were added to this book that were not in the originals and the descriptions, pictures and compositions are wonderful!
The book is heavy, however to try to carry around 5 books with this same information would be more cumberson then one book. This was money well spent and I definately reccomend this book over many of the other crystal books out on the market.
