Good idea but needs improvement... I received this saber pack as a gift along with the Clone Wars game. Having played the game once before with only the wii remote, I knew how the game play should have been. Upon using the sabers as instructed, I found the game play was severely reduced. I needed to swing the remote numerous times to register it on the screen and got beat by the computer in the mean time. However, I took the batteries out of the sabers but kept using them and the game play went back to normal (or pretty close to normal). I sacrificed the glowing red and blue saber to get better game play but still got to use the sabers. If kids want to play each other I'll put the batteries back in for the glowing effect. They'll have fun either way. But to have a real fight simply take the batteries out. I'm sure they'll re-design it later onso there is no interference. I would still buy this again even knowing the flaw.

Playable Characters In Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels players can take on the role of one of ten characters. These include, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano,Mace Windu, Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress, General Grievous, Kit Fisto, Yoda and Plo Koon. Each of these possess their own abilities and can unlock items as the game progresses. If you like the animated series you will like this I've been a Star Wars fan for almost all of my life, and I must say this is one of the best "versus" Star Wars game out there,besides it's a good game for the whole family, and if you like the new animated series you will enjoy this game.
The graphics are great and some of the history is direct from the TV series. The dialogue is witty and funny, since it was made with almost the entire cast of the animated series. The cutscenes are either from the movie or the TV series.
The playability is very simple, but it really takes a while to master it.
My only dissapointment is the lack of such great characters like Yoda.
This game is more enjoyable if you play it with friends.
Kind of disappointed The sabers look cool, and the game starts out fun, but it doesn't take long to realize that the game is actually easier without them. The weight and extra bulk on the controller makes it harder to grip after a couple of duels. I also couldn't help but repeatedly pressing the pause button when playing. Even though my son really likes them, he doesn't like to play the game with them either. Note: I gave this as a gift along with the Star Wars Clone Wars Light Saber Duel game, and these were a perfect fit for that game, just difficult to handle.

Looks great lit up very bright, very sturdy, fits the wii mote snugly.
the bad-
completely blocks the infrared beam for menu access, partially blocks sensitivity with the game, makes moves much harder and more frustrating than they are with out it on, also adds weight so your hand gets tired quicker.
my advice, skip it, and buy a force fx saber to look at , and use the regular wii mote to play any star wars games.
