| Thrustmaster Rally GT Force Feedback Pro Clutch Edition Wheel VideoGames
| REVIEW | This could have been a great wheel My black MOMO died, pedals quit working, so I needed a new wheel. I've had good luck with thrustmaster wheels in the past so I bought the Pro Clutch Edition. Basic setup was easy. I have two basic problems with the new wheel. First and worst is the mounting of the wheel to the desk. For the life of me I can't tighten the clamp enough to keep the wheel from "rocking back and forth" when you use it in a game. This is very disconcerning when trying to race. Its like trying to race with a tilting wheel that wont lock in place. My other complaint is with the software that comes with the wheel. There is no way of assigning the buttons to any of the F-Function keys. I play the NASCAR 2003 game and you use the F-keys ALOT during race. Another irratation is setting up to use the clutch pedal. I managed to make it work once, but next time could not makeit work. Its on the same axis as the brake and there is no way to split it off.
I really thought this was going to be a great wheel for me, but I would have been just as well off the buy a much simpler, cheaper wheel. |
