I use to ruin a deck every week because somebody would bend them, spill a drink on them, etc. After finding these cards I don't have to worry about a thing. Extremely durable, great for camping, parties, or normal use.
The only complaint I have is they don't deal as well/feel as well as paper cards, but you the durability factor definitely is worth it. |

| REVIEW | Nostalgia
Texan PLaying Cards are high quality replicas of the decks used in the late 1800's in Canada, and were made by the US Playing Card Company. The cards have replicas of the original Bicycle/US Playing Card Co. face design, and the enormous Ace of Spades originally used for this deck. The Jokers depict a Texan on a horse, and the face of the card has a slightly faded look to it(again to coincide with the nostalgic look of these cards). The faces seemed to have been slightly updated(I could be incorrect), as I have a few European decks with the exact same look on the Jacks, Queens and Kings. I do recommend these cards to playing card enthusiasts, Poker players, and card collectors as they will add a unique addition tothe games you play.

| REVIEW | Hoyle colors
These Hoyle Poker cards are unique in that the colors are done in green and orange instead of the usual red, black, yellow and blue. The original Hoyle Ace of Spades and Joker are present in this deck, and the color combo makes an interesting design. My pet peeve for this deck however is that the King for all four suits is represented by the Hoyle King of Hearts(suicidal King), and the Jack for all four suits is represented by the Hoyle Jack of Diamonds. (the Queens are all adorned withthe Queen of Hearts face design as well). This makes it difficult for the one-eyed jacks or King to go wild as there are no one-eyed cards in this deck. (For a Poker deck it is almost necessary to include all aspects of a Poker game in my opinion). However, if you are a card collector, or like unusually colored decks, then this is the deck for you!
