Underwater Attack takes the gameplay from classic outer space shooters and transports it underwater for more than 20 levels of intense side-scrolling action. Touch screen controls give players 360-degree range to attack enemies, and an arsenal of ten weapons -- like underwater mines, homing missiles, and lasers -- means that gamers are well-equipped to take on the Chaos Empire and their Crimson Star war machine. Multiple game modes allow players to progress through the story or simply try to best their top scores.

As the young but determined hero Mr. Slime, you must navigate the levels by dragging and stretching your arms to grab hold of small anchor points scattered throughout the game. Mr. Slime features inventive uses of characteristics specific to Nintendo DS, including sound and shape recognition. As an example, you can blow on Mr. Slime to make him fly in the air or to help him breathe under water.

REVIEW
Well Made & Innovative DS Game Although the comparison isn't exact, Mr. Slime is kind of like Portal for the DS. It is innovative in that it gives us a new way to think about moving through space. And unlike a lot of games, not driven by violence, but by completing tasks that assist the village that Slime is a member of. The story and difficulty progresses at a nice pace, the graphics and sounds are well polished. The only errors I've seen so far, is that some of the text screens could use a little more room. Looks like this game was first done in French and then ported to english.
So if you are looking for an original DS game, enjoy puzzle games, and like exploring, I'd recommend this game.
