More then just racing! I do not understand why anyone would really dislike this game, maybe not there favorite, but theres nothin bad about this game. Great attention to detail when it comes to crashes and getting dinged up by other cars. All the game modes are fun(race,derby,stunt)
Online play is really fun too, especially if you have a mic.
Only bad part is some tracks are the same tracks, just in opposite directions and the cars slide around too much as if you have absoluty no tred.
Best racing game I've ever played though. The need for speeds are fun, but generally have little or no damage and the tracks all look a little too similiar. They also don't offer as many jumps and the crashes are not nearly as spectacular. You'll be wanting to see some of your best crashes over again in slow motion in Flatout 2. I can't wait for the 360 version!

The Worst Game Ever!!!!!!!! This game was terrible because it does not have a lot of things to do. Another reason I didn't like this game was because it is not exciting at all.
Great Mixture of Games I think it has great variety of games. It has some solitaire games. I don't know how to play solitaire but for those of us that do; it is a nice inclusion. I like the inclusion of the tile games. I was kind of unsure if I wanted to buy this cd because I wasn't thrilled with previous versions of tile matching by Hoyle. But here they added some new versions of tile matching games that require more strategy. They are less boring. The Incredible Machine is a complete version of the game. It is a good game because you can experiment so much in trying to figure out the Puzzles. Unfortunately, there is a issue where the game wasn't retaining scores. The Word puzzles are great. The Anagrams makes you think about how many words you can make from a series of letters. I liked Hangman because you can choose different scenes to play the game. There are crosswords as well. There are some arcade-types of games. Some involve running around a maze; which is challenging with the various helpers and obstacles. Time breaker is fun as it is similar to break out. However depending on what is loosened from the wall; there are interesting effects on gameplay. Star collector is challenging as it is about lining up pieces and capturing stars. I think it is one of the more harder of the games. This game has something for everyone. It isn't boring. No one really seems to do these compilations as well as Hoyle. They seem to run well. And you don't need the Cd to play the game in your computer once installed.

Fun game for young girls and Barbie fans... Gameboy games for young girls are hard to come by so we purchased this game for our young daughter for her 5th birthday. She is a big fan of princesses and adored the "Barbie Princess and the Pauper" gameboy game so this was a perfect fit for her.
The game itself mirrors the gameplay and animation of the "Princess and the Pauper" game. In "Barbie Magic of Pegasus," Princess Annika has to find certain objects, uncover clues and defeat enemies to advance to the next level. My daughter (and even her older brother) has been playing this non-stop since she got it. I suppose this is the best compliment she - and I - can give this game. It is fun and not too difficult for a 5 year old to pick up and play.
This game has since joined "Barbie Princess and the Pauper" and "Strawberry Shortcake" as her favorite Gameboy Games. I would recommend it for girls ages 4 to 12 and for anyone who loves Barbie or princesses.

Classic Monsters vs. Van Helsing on your GBA The new Van Helsing game for the GBA developed by Saffire games for Vivendi Universal is a slightly above average film licensed romp. Your enjoyment of this game will most likely be gauged by your enjoyment of Stephen Sommer's film of the same name. The story is told with snippets of dialogue and images of the films stars (much like last years HOBBIT GBA game) This is an action oriented title however and you will rely heavily on your crossbow, pistol,grappling hook, and tojos to survive against minions of skeletons etc...the gameplay is fairly frantic and smooth with certain bosses requiring a bit of strategy. The graphics and sound are nice and add atmosphere throughout. The levels could be longer but the side scrolling/isometric action is satisfying the PASSWORD SAVE SYSTEM however leaves a little to be desired in a NEW title. There are goodies to be lunlocked and many glyphs to collect. A battery save and some audio snippets would have gone a long way here, but this is a licensed game that is actually pretty fun to play, especially if you enjoyed the movie.

Fan of Futurama? Spend your money on the DVDs. Cel-style animation. Original voices. Cut scenes with all the off-beat humor of the original TV series. What's not to love?
Well, in the "not to love" category we have: Weak graphics. Substandard (non-customizable) controls. Dumb missions. And a third person camera that absolutely defies player control.
All in all, I thouroughly enjoyed the cut scenes, and spent much of the gameplay trying to gouge out my own eyes. Thanks a load, Fox Interactive.

Interesting game with alot of potential. ER, the official game from the television show ER is a game that offers you the chance to work in the Emergency Department of the hospital, starting as an intern and working your way up the ranks.
The game starts with you deciding what you, as the doctor should look like, you can only decide your hair colour, eye colour, scrub colour (your clothes), what pre-made head you would like and if you want to wear a jacket or not. There aren't many available "looks" you can choose but the amount available is good.
You then get the option to play the tutuorial, although helpful to begin with it leaves out some important information that you have to work out, so if you didnt play it, you could work it out.
The main aim of the game is to help the many patients who fill the waiting room. You as the doctor walk over to the patient, diagnosis them (which will make them become a colour depending on how sick they are, there are 10 levels of sickness, level 1 is bright green and is not sick as all, these patients take only a small amount of time to heal, the colour changed to yellow and then to level 10 which is flashing red, if your patient is level 10 they die.) Once the patient is diagnosed they are moved into one of the available beds in different rooms. Once the patientis in bed you just click on the patient and you start to heal them. This was the frustrating part as you can't actually heal them yourself. Once healed the patient walks out of the hospital and you start the process again.
The game does consists of many challenging-at-first situations, on one level you get the chance to taking care of 5 interns, who indefinatly will end up killing the patient if you dont step in and take control, you can at times choice who to fire from the emergancy department and you take care of many interesting characters who will all come in with something wrong, but then will need a new diagnois, heading to the lab for the majority of you shift.
You can make friends by talking with other doctors and nurses, which has many advantages, such as raising you emotion levels, and getting you perks that will make your time in the Emergency depeartment less stressful. Or you can do the opposite and make enemies who will make your life as hard as they can.
An at times annoying aspect of the game is the need to refresh your needs. At the start of this shift you energy, hygiene and emotion bars are at max, but working a stressful 36 hour shift will make the bars drop, with results such as patients apparently not wanting to come near you cause you smell, or you collapsing because your energy is so low so you end up in the staff lounge in bed. This can create problems in a emergency.
The game only has 2 levels of the hospital, the emergancy level and the staff level (where the bathroom is, the canteen and the gym...) with an added section for the ambulance area.
This game is not very hard once you know what you are doing, many aspects of the game can be frustrating, but the generaly game is very fun and addictive to play. I was disapointed as there are only 6 or 7 levels , a level being the 36 in-game-hour shift to complete, which resulted in me finishing the game quickly, but the good thing about it, is that there are many different ways to play the game so you can just restart and play differently.

Not the Typical Spyro Game Let's get this strait, Spyro and Crash Bandicoot are my favorite GBA games. I've played and beaten every one of those games for GBA. You can imagine how thrilled I was to find out there was another GBA Spyro game out. The day it came out, I dragged my mom over to the store to fork over thirty dollars to buy the game.
The game started where Spyro and his dragonfly friend (name slipped my mind) are going home to his parents. Immediatly, I knew this was not the ordinary Spyro game where you did quests and collected gems. You basically battled monsters and tried to get to the end. This was not even like a Crash Bandicoot game.
That was what you did the whole time, try to get to the end of the level without dying. Also, the only way to die was to fall off one of the few cliffs or be defeated by a monster. But with the few cliffs there were and the huge amount of health crystals (literally one ever screen) you never died.
I finished the game in less than a week. It would have been less but the game got boring and didn't hold my attention for more than thirty minutes at a time. The overall game time took me.... two hours to complete. Yep, that's right One Hundred and Twenty Minutes. Short amount of game time for a thirty dollar game huh? Also, let's get this strait. I STINK at battling! I couldn't beat the PInnochio Level in Kingdom of Hearts: Chain of Memories, I couldn't get past the first Megaman level. Yet, I beat this (battle)game in TWO HOURS!
Overall, it was an ok game. Maybe considering buying this for someone that is seven, terrible hand-eye coordination (and I mean terrible!), or if this is their first ever GBA game where they are still getting used to hitting the R and L buttons or the controls in general. If not, skip buying this game and buy another Spyro game OR if you have to have it, wait until the price drops below twenty dollars.
