Nice effects but not quite challenging I purchased this game and strategy guide for my husband as a Christmas gift. I purchased the Game Guide for help however now you can only purchase Brady Game Guides.
1st of all the effects and gameworld are very well done, the gameplay however leaves a lot to be desired. In multiplayer mode, 1 of you is Eragon (the lucky one) and the other starts off as his mentor. Half way through the game the mentor dies and you get a new charecter. That is nice but not when the character they give you is no where near as good or advanced as you made the 1st one.
Then other times the second player is no longer a fighter but instead acts as the dragon. Again, I thought this would be cool but the oontrols for her are very difficult and you (the second player) really feel left out.
The game only took about 12 hours on hard to complete. The book was used maybe once before we realized just how useless it is. Single player mode is no better since you still have the other charecters with you but they are slow to help and you have enough to worry about as Eragon.
If you enjoy slashing and killing then you should play it just for the joy of killing Orcs and Archerers. Your main tools are a Sword, a bow and arrows. If you are Eragon, you have limited (very limited) magic which can only be used in pre-determined areas.
Some one please bring back Prima Guides because Brady Game guides cost 25% more and give you 60% less information.
The best. Period. I have held an SCCA National Competitor license. I have raced numerous sport and formula cars. I have fueled Indycars, including the 1999 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year. And this is the best racing game I have ever played. It's the best recreation I have ever seen of car dynamics--if you are going into a corner and you come out of the power, the car is going to "walk"without being hooked up at the rear wheels. Tap the brakes in a 'light' corner and the front wheels load and turn. Very realistic. I have never played a game that so faithfully recreates the experience of driving a "real" race car.
And this isnt just a "plug it in and go through all the levels" game...you must improve your skills, and each level IS more difficult--not just a faster car. Each level is a quantum jump in ability, and includes tougher car dynamics and better competition. I waltzed through the GT3 category, and thought, "Well, on to the next level...", only to spend a LOT of time learning the GTS cars. If you are looking to accurately recreate the racing experience, this is the closest I have seen.
The only down side I have found is that contact doesnt produce damage...you can go through every gravel pit on the track, bang into competitors and fences, and the car is just as it started the race. I'm not crazy about that--I think you should be penalized for contact. But that is really the only thing I have seen so far that is disappointing.
I know it sounds like a mantra--but this is the most realistic racing game I have ever experienced. Buy it. You'll like it.

YOU DON'T KNOW JACK visits The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame! Sierra has done it again! They've takes the fun and ease of their ever-popular You Don't Know Jack series less the sarcasm, given it a hot look, paid through the nose for the licensing of many popular songs, rolled it all up and made it into "Backstage Pass", subtitled "The Ultimate Rock & Roll Trivia Game". This may be one of the few times in consumer history where such an ambitious claim is true! The game is tons of fun! It literally plays like YDKJ! with the 3 category selections and multiple choice questions as well as a few special type questions, yet they've added tons more graphics to make this as appealing to the eyes as well as the ears. They have included 600 questions, which should last a decent amount of time since I believe the maximum amount of questions per game is 21. Sure, if you play non-stop for days on end, you'll get repeats faster than some but there's a way to avoid that...DON'T PLAY NON-STOP FOR DAYS ON END! GET OUTSIDE AND TAKE IN SOME OXYGEN! hehehe...sorry about that. Anyway, they've included a lot of musicclips by the ORIGINAL ARTISTS and in FULL STEREO! I hope this is just the beginning of this series and hope that Sierra branches out to more areas. Hey, why not team up with TV LAND and produce the CDROM version of "ULTIMATE FAN SEARCH" for the fans of TV trivia but find the YDKJ sarcasm not quite to their tastes. Hey, I heard that Chuck Woolery could use the work...:)

Great Pinball !!!! I only have the demo and I love it! I am surprised everytime I play it and it's to bad it has been removed from the market as it is the coolest pinball game I have played. You never really play the same game twice. Although the demo has point or time limits it does play over and over but after so many points cuts you offbut still worth a try till you get the real thing which is what I am getting ready to do.

My baby (she's 4) loves Kelly We have not used it as of yet, Kelly will be one of my daughter's Christmas presents. She loves Kelly though, has a lot of Kelly items and I am sure this will be a special treat under the tree for her as she is not even aware that Kelly has a software product. She's going to go for this out of all the other toys and software that "Santa" brings her. I know that for a fact. O.k. how do I know it. If you guys promise not to tell anyone, I'll tell you. I should change the "we have not used it as of yet" to my daughter has not used it as of yet. You know I just had to make sure it worked, so I put it in. It's really a lot of fun. I love it and I'm not 4, so I know she'll adore it. I have to fess up to it, I played it. Parents need to check out the items when they come to make sure they are working properly. Just an excuse. I have no excuse. I love Kelly as much asmy daughter. Now I must wait until Christmas to borrow my daughter's Kelly software, and I'm sure she will not let me get my hands on it. It's really a lot of fun, if I think so, she'll love it. She loves Kelly, so how could you not love a product like this?

REVIEW
Great multiplayer. OK single player. I'll begin by saying that the multiplayer features are very entertaining. Being able to customize your player's appearance, taunt other players, and watch players dance around during play is hilarious.
However, the single player game is not as developed as some other golf games I have played. If you try to hit the ball when a player's animation sequence starts, nothing happens until the animation is complete and then the swing starts unexpectedly. Some of the announcer's comments don't make any sense. Of course, you can turn the comments off. Also, the program crashes in the middle of a game occasionally. Although a crashed game can be recovered, sometimes the program continues to crash on the recovered game. There are other frustrating areas, but all games have their quirks.
Overall, this game is great for multiplayer but, if you're looking for something to play by yourself, you should definately shop around first.
Classic I diddn't buy this game for intence grafix or for streaming online play. I bought this game because years ago I loved to play it and lately I just wanted to play it again, its still fun and although it did not come in an expensive factory sealed box, it was a quality buy. thanks

Cool Game Awesome graphics and lots of mini-games. Me and my friends love to play this game together. Herding Raptors, sneaking past the TRex in T-Rex Extreme and Raging Raptors are my favorites. The dinos, especially the T-Rex and Raptors, are just like the movie.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Melee is a great party game for fans of fighters and the classic characters. It delivers hours of bashing, crashing and trashing fun with more than 20 playable characters. Try the competitive Adventure mode and huge variety of mini games and unlockables.
