Tanika L. Carroll Not as good as the first Stallion I couldn't wait to get this second book in the Stallion series. I read the first one and fell in love with John and Marah's story. So when I got this one, I read it and felt very dissapointed. Mark and Mitch just didn't make me get goosebumps like the first one did. It's an okay book. Not the greatest, but okay. Hopefully the other brothers in this series will be better. But so far, John is leading.

Malaika Tamu Mixing Business With Pleasure This is only the second novel I've read by Mrs. Deborah Fletcher Mello, and I found it to be an enjoyable read. When the story first started I thought Marah Briscoe was a spoiled brat. I must admit I didn't think I would like her, but once the story got rolling, you get a better understanding of her feelings, she grows on you. John Stallion's character is quite memorable. He is portrayed as a very caring, intelligent, passionate and absolutely gorgeous young man. The immediate attraction between Marah and John is sweet, very sensual and sometimes funny. As much as she wants to despise himfor trying to take away her family home, she can't seem to fight the intense desire she feels for him. And John, a man who NEVER mixes business with pleasure, is finding it very difficult to keep his relationship with Ms. Marah Briscoe strictly professional. Does Marah really love John? Or is she willing to do ANYTHING to keep her family home? I also enjoyed the camaraderie of the secondary characters, the Briscoe family and the Stallion family definitely aided in keeping this novel entertaining and I'm definitely looking forward to reading which Stallion Brother will be taken off the marketnext.
