Informative article for Kindle users We are pleased, at Harvard Perspectives Press, to be bringing out individual chapters of Windwalker's book on the Kindle as helpful guides to Kindle users who want to get more out of the device. These are pre-publication articles, and the book is expected early this year.
If you are a gamer or hacker who gets a charge out of figuring out electronic devices and software yourself, this article could spoil the fun for you. You may not need the "hints" in this article, but for the vast majority of Kindle users it is a great road map to get maximum usefulness from your Kindle.
(By the way, another reviewer who seems to specialize in 1-star reviews referred to the Kindle's wireless basic web browser as primitive and time-consuming, and said "Caveat Emptor." It all depends on how you want to use it. If you want to watch videos or use online gaming platforms, you won't find the Kindle web environment worthwhile. If you are a reader who wants to read web content, blogs and email, the Kindle browser is terrific).

Worthy Information As a newbie author for the Kindle Catalog, I was understandably anxious to expose myself to as much 'technological' information as I could get my hands on. This guide, more a 'manual than a book', does provide many useful and interesting techniques, but assumes a great deal of skill and ability with PC/software usage on the part of the reader. For the price, I was expecting more detailed instructions. It was certainly not a waste of my time to purchase, but wish it had not cost as much. Finished reading it in 45 mintues. (Since my review, the author has adjusted the price to a somewhat more modest scale, I would change my 'star setting' to a four, if the system allowed. This manual is helpful) Add a Review

Author's Note: It you're thinking your Kindle can be good for business reading and other things as well as pleasure, you're entirely right! And this is the book for you. I'm a longtime business executive, and have covered in here every last thing that you can do with a Kindle that is business-relevant.
Everything in here, I actually tried myself and it works. And I'm adding more as I think of and try new things. The current version of this is already at edition 2 though it's been out less than a month.
Whether it's PDFs, audio, making audio books or graphics slidebooks, the how-tos are in here. If you only want one Kindle guide, this one may do it all for you.
