Manhunt 2 creates a horrifying new environment that tests your nerve and your skill. An experiment at a secret research facility has gone catastrophically wrong. Daniel is sent to the Dixmor Asylum, where six years later a freakish storm of lightning hits the power. Leaving it dark and haunting. Daniel Lamb and Leo Kasper are the only surviving subjects. They have one chance to take back their lives and they're taking it. Anyone who stands in their way is a dead man. Players can take control of Leo Kasper in the new Flashback Mode

Hitman is better
I bought this game for my fiance for Christmas because we love playing Hitman. The graphics are disappointing and there is a special effect that fuzzes out the screen with kind of a scratching sound...very distracting. I would recommend the Hitman Trilogy over this game. Don't buy it.

A decent, gory romp on your PSP
Manhunt 2 by Rockstar Games is a perfectly serviceable adventure game that holds up very well on the PSP. As the game strongly advises from the onset - be sure to play these games with headphones on and preferably in a darkened environment. To do so otherwise greatly diminishes the expertly crafted mood and atmosphere that truly is the best thing about this title. As for the gameplay itself Manhunt2 is a decent, but not great, adventure romp that most players should be able to complete in 10 hours or so. The game spans 15 episodic chapters (with 1 bonus chapter unlocked after completion) that delves into the character and story of Nathan Lamb, a man with no clue as to his past and present state locked up in a psychiatric ward. Graphically, the heavily grained and filtered visual style looks really sharp on the PSP and the audio is wonderfully layered with some excellent effects and a truly magnificent ambient score.

The sequel to Rockstar's sinister action game about a man who wakes up in a living nightmare where he is being stalked for sport and must sneak through the shadows and kill by whatever means he can devise in order to fight his way out. The sequel picks up with a new lead character, new gangs, a new storyline with gruesome twists and turns, and much more. The urban horrors of Cancer City are gone. Manhunt 2 takes place in a dark, shadowy, asylum filled with dark realities and psychological turmoil.
Danny and Leo were subjects in a diabolical experiment that had gone wrong. They were the only two survivors. The game starts in a dingy asylum. You're Danny and your goal is to escape and let no one stand in your way - guards, inmates, nurses, doctors - are all enemies. Can you? Leo talk to Danny throughout the entire escape. There are questions about Danny's sanity but you don't have enough time to consider it as he rampages through the 'hospital' killing his way from one level to the next. He is, of course, relentlessly pursued by a group of viscous hunters who will also stop at nothing to finish Danny off. Actively pursued, the hunted Danny Lamb must tackle his way out of a nightmare where the stakes are as real as they are dangerous. While the core gameplay is still sneaking, shooting, and performing stealth attacks, there are a number of new options available for players in this exciting new version that's ripe and ready for the Wii. It's bound to be a major hit with Wii owners.
Like the original Manhunt, Manhunt 2 isn't for the faint-hearted ( ESRB rating is M for Mature). Death scenes are particularly gruesome, gory and bloody. Improved AI and advanced graphics make the game seem more realistic. Coupled with an eery soundtrack and sensational audio effects, Manhunt 2 is a sure-fire sequel for fans in search for frenzied action, explosive gameplay, and pulse-tingling adventure.

Honestly, you can't sell this kind of junk and get away with it.
The Wii version has several bugs in navigation and in loading. The navigation bug happens sometimes when you start the game and the wii controller gets mis auto-calibrated. The loading bug is horrible, and the screen freezes while the next enemy scene is loaded, which takes away the surprise, interrupts the gameplay and will wear on you the 8th time it happens within the first 15 minutes of the game.
Also, the game is specifically about violent executions, and it blurs them all out, almost completely. With no real violent cut-scenes, play control that's worse than Castlevania I, and long periods of no-action "sneaking" (who doesn't want to sit in a shadow for 5 minutes waiting for a CPU to walk by?) I can't remember a worse game for the Wii. And there have been some awful ones.

Manhunt highlights the sick and gruesome world of cold-blooded murderers. It's an intense, violent gaming experience, capturing the dark side of humanity more accurately than any game before. NOTE - This game has accurate&realistic depictions of violence and murder. It is not recommended for sensitive or younger game players.

choppin off heads
ok this has got to be the most violent game ever made its really bad starting with your first kill using a shopping bag and beating people with a bat while they ocaisionaly beg you to stop, and eventualy you get worse weapons including a wire which allows you to cut off your enemes head but be advised that later in the game you do kill cops using those weapons so if your a weak minded idiot who thinks they should try everything they see in a video game should not play this

overall this is a really fun game and i would give the replay value a 4 out of 5

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles

Lowest Price we can find: $26.98

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is a brand new game in the Resident Evil® franchise, with familiar locales from the entire series. This action/shooter hybrid reveals the back story behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation by exploring locations from Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3 as well as new never-before-seen locations, such as Umbrella's stronghold. Classic locations from previous Resident Evil games in full 3D, including the mansion from the original and RE 0, and elements of Raccoon City from RE2 and 3. Umbrella's stronghold, a new location, holds many secrets to events throughout the RE series. Returning characters from many RE games, including Billy Coen, Rebecca Chambers, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira. ESRB Rated M for Mature

What happened?
I loved Resident Evil 4 for the PC, and I loved it even more for the Wii. In fact, I thought it was the best Wii game I'd played so far. Psyched about Umbrella Chronicles, I went out and got it right away, figuring that if nothing else it would be just more of the same (which wouldn't be bad, IMO).

Boy, was I wrong. This game is very nearly unplayable, period. The graphics are decent, but the gameplay is absolutely ridiculous. Ever play games like House Of The Dead at the arcade, where you get a plastic gun and just stand there, shooting things as they pop up on the screen? Well, Umbrella Chronicles is like that. It's like that to a T. Except instead of the plastic gun you get your Wiimote. You cannot move your character, cannot choose which doors to enter, which turns to take, or what strategy to apply to your enemies. You cannot do anything apart from shooting endless monsters that keep on jumping at you.

For me, exploration of the environment is one of the most important features of any videogame, be it FPS, adventure, simulation, you name it. What's behind this door? What lurks in the corridor beyond? Should I take the right or the left turn? It's what makes games fun. And I see no fun whatsoever in continuously shooting things without being able to explore. If you find that fun, thenyou'll love this game. If you're like me, spare yourself the pain. It doesn't deserve your time or your money.

Taking full advantage of the PSP system's graphics, sound, and portability, Silent Hill Origins sets a new standard in handheld gaming terror. Encounter horrific new monsters never before seen in Silent Hill Original soundtrack by famed series composer Akira Yamaoka ESRB Rated M for Mature

Great Game!!!
I have played and finished about a dozen PSP games, and this may be my number one favorite, if not a very close second. The whole environment draws you into the dark and disturbing nature of the quest. It is the only psp game I would consider replaying. There were even moments when I actually jumped during an unexpected weird scene. Best played as suggested with headphones and with the lights out. The puzzles are challenging, but not impossible. The boss monsters are somewhat simply to defeat, but it does not effect or damage the overall gaming experience. The only downside is that it is too short. I finished in just over 10 hours. Still, I highly recommend this title to any PSP owner.

Resident Evil 4

Lowest Price we can find: $13.98

In Resident Evil 4 you'll know a new type of horror, as the classic survival-horror actionreturns with all-new characters, controls and storylines. We last saw Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 2 - a rookie cop in Raccoon City, fighting to stay alive. That was six years ago. Since then, government forces have managed to control the zombie threat and Leon has become a Federal agent. When the President's daughter is kidnapped, Leon tracks her to a remote, hidden fortress in Europe - where he'll relive the horror he faced six years before. Players will face never-before-seen enemies that make Nemesis seem like a kitten. You'll be wishing for the usual Resident Evil zombies!

Edge of your seat action
This was the first Resident Evil game i have ever played. I honestly didn't know what to expect. The first time i played RE4 i was freaked out by everything. i jumped everytime something was trying to kill me (which was very often). eventually i calmed down and adjusted to the mood of the game.

As for the gameplay it is truely amazing. this game has the best graphics i have ever seen on the wii. also the soundtrack is absolutely first class. the soundeffects are amazing and add a real sense of fear and doom to the game.

there is also a very large variaty of weapons and upgrades. they all have their advantages and disadvantages and it is exciting to test out new ones.

the additional gamesunlocked after beating the 'campaign' are also pretty neat. you can unlock 4 additional games upon beating the normal diffuculty. there are also tons of other unlockables including special weapons, outfits, and in some cases even characters.

overall this is an amazing survival thriller and i would recomend it to anybody who is seeking an intense survival thriller.
