You'dthink years of defeat would get to a guy, but Bowser just doesn't give up! He's captured Mario and his friends in his pursuit of a crystal that the group collected when it fell from the sky, and he doesn't hesitate to shrink them to miniature size to get rid of them and get his hands on the other four crystals. The mini-heroes have to find the crystals before he does, making their way through giant environments filled with enormous creatures. The single-player campaign takes place in five different settings, each of them ending with a boss. As usual, players have to collect coins and stars, at the same time escaping dangers such as Piranha Plants and other classic creatures from the Mario universe. As they progress through the game, players also can unlock various mini-games, such as Rail Riders, Sweet Sleuth and Goomba Wrangler! When players are tired of exploring the story mode, they can choose one of the other modes, like Puzzle and Minigame. Play with up to four friends on the DS' local Wi-Fi and let the party begin! This Game Is Great! Just because a ton of folks heaped praises on Mario Kart before me is not stopping me from tossing in my two cents. This game is fun and addicting! It isa must purchase to add to your DS game collection.
The graphics are a blast, the sound effects are quite complimentary to the game atmosphere, and the game play is all consuming.

REVIEW
A rare RPG gem in a sea of mundane. Way before they went overboard on stupid gimmicks with Super Paper Mario, but after they learned their lessons on what worked and what didn't from Paper Mario, we have the Thousand Year Door. The pinnacle, in my opinion, of the Paper Mario series. I'll simply break the game down into bite-size chunks:
Story: This is a far different story than the typical 'Bowser' is the main villian mythos. You are sent to a vastly different land that is the polar opposite of the bright and cheery Mushroom Kingdom. You are sent to investigate the disappearance of Princess Peach and the reason why she asked you to Rogueport to find a 'treasure.' The treasure is rumored to be behind a door that's been shut for a Thousand Years, sealed by seven crystal stars. The final end result of the story is something more deadly and terrifying than Bowser could ever be. Although he does make frequent appearances as comic relief.
Sound/Music: Improving upon the previous title in every way, the game remixes old tunes and comes up with fresh new ones for almost every area. Nothing ever gets repetative and everything suits well to the area it plays for. The sounds are also top notch and don't detract from the overall presentation.
Controls: After a few minutes of adjusting to the controls and literally being thrown into a battle 2 minutes of starting the game, you should slip right into a groove and have no complaints for the rest of the game.
Gameplay: This game has it in spades. There is simply so much to do not only in the secret-encrusted city of Rogueport, but in all the individual areas and towns you will visit. There are so many badges, star pieces, hidden question blocks, trade sequences, help quests, side quests, and mini-games that you won't be bored for a long time. The difficulty of the game is on the moderate side, nothing that you can't complete with a small amount of time spent for level grinding, which is a good thing. Only downside is that some of the help quests can be a bit mundane and boring having you travel back and forth multiple times through the same areas to completeit. Beyond this gripe, which is purely optional and not intended to be completed to finish the game, this game is very innovative, genius, funny and good in all aspects.
A highly recommended game for all RPG fans out there and Mario RPG fans in particular. Especially now since the Wii can play Gamecube games, there is no reason not to pick this up and pop it in the Wii for a great time. Don't rent, simply buy, it will be worth your money.

The epic story of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker continues as Link finds himself lost in a new adventure. Link and Tetra, the leader of a band of pirates, discover a ghost ship in dense fog. Link falls into the ocean when Tetra gets into trouble, and he wakes up alone on the shore of a mysterious island. Throughout the game, Link collects sand for his Phantom Hourglass, which allows him to explore deeper and deeper into a time-limited dungeon in his quest to find Tetra. Featuring intuitive touch-screen controls and innovative puzzles, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass offers new challenges for fans of the series and an easy-to-grasp introduction for gamers new to The Legend of Zelda. The robust single-player adventure will have Zelda veterans and newcomers alike engrossed by the story as they move through the game with the stylus. A special two-player battle mode lets players connect locally or via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. One player controls Link as he tries to gather as many Force Gems as possible, while the other player manages the enemies who pursue Link. The replayability of these winner-take-all matches is virtually endless.
REVIEW
Huge dissapointment for a Zelda title Being a sequel to The Wind Waker, I expected alot more out of this game, sadly, it was a major flop. The story is as expected bad because your just chasing after to find out where Tetra is so you can turn her back to normal after being turned into stone. The sylus controls handle well however it would have been nice to have been able to use the d-pad and the reason why this game is bad is because they force you go through the same dungeon atleast 5 times, and you have to do the ENTIRE dungeon over again and more, also you have a time limit and have to complete it in usually less than 10 minutes which requires you to remember everything about it while avoiding invincible, yes, invincible enemies.
If you werent forced to backtrack to many times, then this would easily be one of the best DS titles out there, unfortunately, it isnt.
Super Mario 64 was a genre-defining classic. Now it arrives on the Nintendo DS with all-new features that take advantage of the new portable system's dual screens, touch screen and wireless features! Mario, Luigi and Wario are invited to a royal party for Princess Peach. When they arrive at the castle, it is strangely empty and the 3 of them try to learn what happened. When they disappear too, Yoshi must rescue them from their old enemy Bowser.

So much fun!! I've had this game since it was released. It is a REALLY fun game that reminds me of my middle school days of Super Mario Brothers. Once you get used to using the Wii controllers for this type of game, it's really easy for anyone to play. The graphics are incredible and the musical score is truly impressive. It still amazes me how much depth this game has. Even my husband and I will play this game together when we get to difficult rounds.
Beware that this is NOT a party game, just a really great Mario game.
