REVIEW
Amazing detail This action figure is amazing in detail. As you expect from McFarlane figures quality is very good.
Of course, due to the position of this figure there is not to many options for different positions. It is mostly static.

THE BEST JOE MONTANA FIGURE EVER! This is by far the best Joe Montana figure ever! Arguably the best quarterback to ever play the game, this is classic Joe (Cool) Montana: throwing his arms up in the air after tossing yet another touchdown pass. You can't go wrong with this figure! Add it to your collection of great McFarlane NFL quarterbacks today!
A beloved blockbuster classic, "The Godfather" is commemorated with this highly-detailed 6-inch figure. Add a touch of cinematic history to your movie figure collection.
REVIEW
Fine Collectable I purchased this Don Corleone figure as an addition to my collection of Godfather Trilogy items. It is true to the look of Marlon Brando as the Don.
Horror is a cornerstone of McFarlane Toys. It's simple. We just love to create scary monster action figures and our fans like them, too. The edgier, the more horrific, the better.

REVIEW
What you see is what you get Stillers fans will be instantly thrilled by this representation.
The detail is ridiculous (although Jack looks a little more like John Goodman than I'd like), if clean and un-Lambert like. Only possible qualm is there is relatively little practical articulation in the figure. Only the most minor tweaks are possible with regards to its photo representation. (No pass deflection/QB slam positioning.)
This review might sound overly critical if not penned by a guy who was once told to 'red up his room before playing dahn at the crick.'
Where are the Mel Blount and Mike Webster figures ?
Todd McFarlane's interpretation of Dorothy is undeniably warped. Make no mistake--she is not in Kansas anymore. Her innocence gone, bound and branded, she is captive. Welcome back to Todd McFarlane's Twisted Land of Oz.
REVIEW
12" Dorothy Specialty Edition I received this figure through another store. Love the figure, she is huge and painted wonderfully. Only problem I had was with the base she stands on. In all the pictures they show her on a yellow brick base, the 12" does not come with that base. It actually comes with a huge black circle base (flat) and is just painted with "land of oz" on it. Just thought people would like to know that. Highly misleading, but oh well.
Dracula is 6 inches tall in hunched position. He features 11 joints (neck, left shoulder, left wrist, right forearm, waist, thighs, shins, toes on both feet). Accessories: Flexible and removable cape, several rats that can be attached to figure and a bat.
REVIEW
McFarlane's Dracula - A bit on the gross side for my taste Although it is a very well sculpted figure, this Dracula figure falls into the mold of being a wee bit on the gross side with its accessories. It comes with several rats ostensibly meant to be snacks for the Count, as well as several bats to hang on the hooked chains in his cape. This is a minor nitpick, I'm just not a big fan of McFarlane's recent trend of rats as toy accessories. The face is very batlike and inhuman, reminscent of a cross between the vampires of Buffy and Radu of Subspecies fame. If you like your monsters base and visceral, check him out, otherwise you might want to stick with the Mummy and Frankenstein figures in this line.
McFarlane Monsters Series 4 Twister Fairy Tales Red Riding Hood Action Figure
REVIEW
Little Red Riding Hood is everything a big bad wolf could want Owoooooooo!
Who's that I see walkin' in these woods?
Why, it's Little Red Riding Hood.
Hey there Little Red Riding Hood,
You sure are looking good.
You're everything a big bad wolf could want.
Listen to me.
Little Red Riding Hood
I don't think little big girls should
Go walking in these spooky old woods alone.
Owoooooooo!
Okay, so there is a not a specific nursery rhyme for Little Red Riding Hood the way there is for Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater or Little Miss Muffett, but one look at McFarlane Toy's Twisted Fairy Tales version of the fairy tale figure and the song by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs will be going through your head as well. I think this is the best looking figure in the set. The ivory white of her skin contrasts nicely with the deep crimson and black of her outfit, and there is some nice silver trim on the cape, with accents all the silver spikes and snaps on her outfit. So we are pretty much talking about Little Red Riding Hood as a Mistress of Bondage or something alone those lines (which certainly fits the requirement for being twisted). I just think the mask is an unnecessary touch. Meanwhile, that song is still going through my brain.
What big eyes you have,
The kind of eyes that drive wolves mad.
So just to see that you don't get chased
I think I ought to walk with you for a ways.
What full lips you have.
They're sure to lure someone bad.
So until you get to grandma's place
I think you ought to walk with me and be safe.
I'm gonna keep my sheep suit on
Until I'm sure that you've been shown
That I can be trusted walking with you alone.
Owoooooooo!
Red comes with a long knife, which fits into her right hand, and a sliced and diced wolf sitting in a pool of blood on a base. Red stands alone without a base, but the clear intent here is that you position her so that while she can continue her assault on the wolf with the knife in her right hand she can use her left so it looks like she is holding up the wolf to continue the fun (my, my, how much was inside the stomach of that wolf). Accordingly the figure offers limited articulation: her neck (although that is limited by the hood), the left shoulder, the right bicep, and both thighs. You are only going to find a couple of poses in which she looks good, so be sure to scope out the results from various angles before you decide what you want to go with here. Plus you can play the song while you pose the figure the same way I am playing it over and over again while writing this review.
Little Red Riding Hood
I'd like to hold you if I could
But you might think I'm a big bad wolf so I won't.
Owoooooooo!
What a big heart I have-the better to love you with.
Little Red Riding Hood
Even bad wolves can be good.
I'll try to be satisfied just to walk close by your side.
Maybe you'll see things my way before we get to grandma's place.
The story of Little Red Riding Hood remains one of the best examples for explainig such characters and narratives in terms of their archetypal significance. The symbolism of the woods is apparent to all, especially when Red has to make her journey into it, which makes it easier to explain the wolf as an archetypal embodiment of the wild. Once upon a time wolves were sacred animals, but now they are demonized by a society that is trying to clean up its brutal past. Now the wolf is identified with the Trickster, as well as being an obvious metaphor for sexually predatory men, which makes his eviseration symbolic of something else as well (but let us not go there), so this figure might have an appeal to some customers on another level as well.
The fourth series of McFarlane's Monsters, the Twisted Fairy Tales menagerie consists of not only Little Red Riding Hood but also Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater, Little Miss Muffett, Humpty Dumpty, and the famous tage team of Hansel andGretel (sold separately). Given the origins of most classic fairy tales providing twisted versions is not really off point, although these figures certainly takes being twisted to the next level. Even if you do not want the entire set, there should be one of these figures that captures the Jungian dark side of the tales that we were all raised on once upon a time that most appeals to you.
Little Red Riding Hood
You sure are looking good
You're everything that a big bad wolf could want.
Owoooooooo! I mean baaaaaa! Baaa?
