Great look, Great controls and a great addition to collection.
Platforming really isen't the type of genre that I'm usually after, but dang, there's just something about these Mario games that hook line and sink me into love(with the game, prevs).
Mario Galaxy takes the Mario 64 style game-play, you know, the whole hop-n-bop thing, but puts it in a universe scale. Take a boss fight for instance, you scale a giant toy robbot(kinda like Shadow of the Colossus), but gravity allows you to walk 360 around the arm or head or basically anywhere you want without falling of. Or leaping from a planet the size of your house out into the space void, rocketing towards a galaxy full of goomba's. Visually, it's stunning, paning around a pixar colored galaxy just give's you an awe-inspiered look. Gameplay wise, you'll be saying to your self 'that is just to cool', going up, down and all around never felt so natural.
Only down sides are you can go through the whole game with out a story at all, and if you want to, you'll have to perfectly complete the game(double your effort's! Literaly)!
