What was once funny becomes old, tiresome and well... boring.
After a full minute of talking shit about his take on the past history of adventure games, Yahtzee goes on rambling about a bunch of other things that aren't quite related to the game until he finally gets to reviewing the game at about 1:30 into the video. His commentary on past adventure games was about as enjoying and exciting, not to mention skewed, as reading the comments section of a Wikipedia article. Yay, you tried to make us laugh.
While this arrogant English prick used to be funny, he's starting to feel like the TV show survivor in the 20th Season when it all just becomes an uneventful blur that you really don't pay attention to. Try something new man, please. I don't want to use the reference jumping the shark because that reference in itself has jumped.
One interesting point made in this week's review shed's light on the subject of his constant wanking and homosexual references. His roomate doesn't like the grunts. Really?
While I'm all for trash talking and shit talking anything and everything, I'm also for originality and the element of surprise, both of which have been absent from Yahtzee reviews of late.
