Over a month after HD-DVD creator Toshiba threw in the towel in the HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray contest, Microsoft's Neil Thompson still thinks backing HD-DVD was the right choice.

That is why Neil Thompson is our innaugural Shit List member. In an article with the UK's Guardian Thompson went on about how even though the Xbox has suffered hits from repeated hardware problems followed by a powerful left hook from Toshiba, that HD-DVD digital format will still find a way to beat Blu-ray by way of digital distribution.

Mr. Thompson goes on shit talking Nintendo and Sony while his own company has failed miserably in the digital format wars and has excelled in failing at hardware reliability. While Xbox might have the better software catalog at the moment, it's just business as usual for Microsoft.
