Some funny shit, we may never know the answers to.

When I first approached Jason Stone from Funcom about talking to us about Age of Conan, I wanted to take a good old American beer and pizza stab at it.  Jason was more than happy to answer these questions, but due to it pretty much indirectly shit talking a whole slew of people, including Funcom, we decided to go with the interview we ran yesterday instead.

If I ever catch one of the Funcom doods at a public event, I'm definitely going to try to get the answers for some of these face to face.

So here is the interview that never happened....

Age of Conan is often compared to World of Warcraft. I've heard this question asked so many times: "How is AoC different from World of Warcraft?". What I have not heard yet was "How is Age of Conan just like World of Warcraft?

Your game has had a few delays already in order to improve on the game. Has marketing crafted the next delay announcement yet?

Your company on so many occasions has defended the inclusion of bloody violence and breasts in an MMORPG as sticking to the Conan lore. In the Conan stories there was also lots of sex and rape. Will these options also be in the game?

I hate to be the one to be thinking negative about things, but you have to have some sort of eye on reality in this flailing MMORPG industry. If the game tanks like so many other recently released MMORPG's such as Vanguard Saga of Heroes and Tabula Rasa, who will take the blame? Eidos or Funcom?

Have there been preliminary or precautionary buyout talks with Sony Online Entertainment for the rights to Age of Conan, you know.. just in case?

How many pennies on the dollar do you think SOE would be willing to pay?

If the game was to flop and the rights sold to Sony Online Entertainment, which of the higher level executives at Funcom are most likely to lock themselves in their office, go on a coke binge and not be seen for the next 12 months?

How often does the phrase "We don't want to be the next Brad" come up in meetings in any given day?
