Those of you interested in the trial should familiarize yourselves with the game and world of Final Fantasy XI otherwise known as Vana'diel.

Final Fantasy XI takes the Final Fantasy series in a direction that fans of the series had never seen before. It is the first time a Final Fantasy game was built from the ground up as an MMO. This new formula broke the game world wide open for fans and newcomers alike, drawing people more intimately into a deep and rich fantasy world in which they can quest with friends and feel like a small part of a bigger whole. This was quite a departure from constantly being the singular saving grace of a distressed world in which everybody knows of your deeds and accomplishments, much like in other FF games.

Players from around the world can band together and take on missions to defend the nations of Vana'diel and their people from evil. These missions allow you to adventure through over 100 different areas and environments ranging from mountains to deserts. You can even lay siege to ancient castles and raid their dungeons. All these environments are brought to life using a dynamic weather system that constantly changes the players surroundings.

I could easily go on describing the game, but the point of this blog is to let you guys know of the new trial available to you.
