Its over-hyped! Everyone thinks it's great because of the price and motion sensing equipement. The moment i brought this home, I thought, great! This'll be fun! And I ended very disapointed. After playing a sesion of sports, I decided to take a break. One day later, my arms hurt like crazy.I did nothing else to make my arms hurt that day or even a week before. What is this? A game? I decided to buy this Wii Nunchuk because my son said he wanted one. It had a low price, so I went for it. When I got it, I noticed that the nunchuck is made of plastic and has this knob-like button thing on it that sticks out. The chain is made of plastic, and is way too long. Plus, you get only one side. I can't see how this could ever be of use in a fight. It's not balanced, there is nothing to hold when you go to hit somebody with it, and I don't think that plastic cable would hold up very long.
It turns out that the plastic cable plugs into a Wii remote control. Still, it's a far cry from a real nunchuck. The remote is way out of balance with their nunchuck, and with that extra long cord, it's useless in a fight, or even for practice. I'd recommend going to a good martial arts store and getting a traditional pair made of wood with a good steel chain.
I ended up letting my son use it as something to play with since I couldn't think of anything else to do with it. To my surprise, he likes it. The Wii somehow knows when he is shaking that thing, and that useless knob thingy actually becomes useful. So I figured I shouldn't be so hard on the product since kids can really have fun with it.
From what I gather from my son, it adds value to the game and makes playing with the Wii more enjoyable. I found out that some games are better suited to this than they are to the remote control alone, and the action of this thing fits in smoothly with playing the game. My son told me that he thought the everybody with a Wii should get one. Go figure.
So I'd have to say that the bottom line is that this is pretty useless for real martial arts, but is a "must have" item for playing some games. I decided to rate the thing based just on the game part, because for martial arts, I'd have to give it zero stars. My daughter says it doesn't deserve 5 stars because they should have included one with every remote, but I couldn't get either of the kids to name anything they don't like about it when using it. As comfortable as it is functional
The Wii Remote is equally comfortable in right and left hands and houses just the right number of buttons for gaming- not so many that new players will get confused, but enough so that Wii games don't feel constrained. On the face of the remote are the D (or "plus") pad, a large "A" button which is used for major on-screen actions, and two small options buttons. Between the game buttons are a plus and minus buttons (which often act as "forwards" and "back"), as well as a "Home" button to engage the Wii home screen to change settings or check remote battery levels. On the back side of the controller is a trigger-like "B" button, perfect for timing releases of a bowling roll in Wii Sports.
Thankfully, battery life is excellent with the two included AA batteries, just as with the previous generation of Nintendo wireless controllers.
Immersive intelligence
Along the bottom of the Wii Remote, four blue LED lights indicate which player position the remote is currently set to. The controller automatically connects to the Wii console via Bluetooth wireless technology. Below the LEDs, an expansion port lets you connect a number of devices including the Nunchuck and Classic controllers for Virtual Console gaming (Virtual Console games and controller accessories sold separately). Other features of the Wii Remote include adjustable rumble force-feedback and a reinforced wrist strap to ensure safe use. A speaker inside the remote gives the player feedback about the strength of swings or the accuracy of their moves- such as realistic tennis noises as the "racket" connects with the ball in Wii Sports. Unfortunate I purchased the Nintendo DS Lite Crimson/Black for my son.It was a second-hand game. Unfortunately when it arrived, it did not work properly. The game has two screens, both of which are necessary to use the game. One screen was blank with half the screen grey and half white. The other screen was not clear with a very "fuzzy" image.
On the plus side when we contacted Amazon for a return, there was no problem. We were sent a return authorization and label electronically and promptly mailed the defective machine back. The cost was promptly refunded.

Zergwatch:The Star Wars saga will continue in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, a videogame developed by LucasArts, which casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi - and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny.

As its name implies, The Force Unleashed completely re-imaginesthe scope and scale of the Force. The Wii version will not only give you a solid story-line developed by LucasArts involving the Darth Vader's secret apprentice, but you'll experience a new style of gameplay only the Wii can offer. With the Wiimote and Nunchuck you'll be able to battle your way through your enemies utilizing your Lightsaber attacks and Force powers. Not only can you experience this new control system in story mode, but you can also try your Jedi skills against a friend in the Wii, "Battle Mode." Joining the Dark Side doesn't seem like such a bad idea after all.
Game Features:
During the period between Episodes III and IV, players hunt Jedi in the role of Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice.
Unleash and upgrade the Secret Apprentice's four core Force powers - Force push, grip, repulse and lightning - throughout the course of the game, and combine them for ultra-destructive, never-before-seen combos.
Examples of unleashing the Force in ways never thought possible:
The Secret Apprentice won't just Force push enemiesinto walls - he'll Force push enemies through walls.
The Secret Apprentice won't just Force grip foes to throw them aside - he'll Force grip them in midair, zap them with lightning, then drop them to the ground to explode like a bomb.
In addition to new adversaries created just for the game, such as fugitive Jedi and Force-sensitive Felucians, players will also confront and associate with familiar faces from the Star Wars films, including Darth Vader.
Visit locations such as Episode III's Wookiee homeworld Kashyyyk and the floral Felucia, the junk planet Raxus Prime, plus an Imperial TIE fighter construction facility.
The Wii system's "Battle Mode," a one on one fighting arena simliar to the classic game, Star Wars: Masters of Teräs Käsi.
Use the Wiimote to slash and pierce your enemies with your Jedi Lightsaber while you use the Wii Nunchuk to disable other opponents with your Force Powers.
LucasArts is preparing an unprecedented promotional effort around the launch of The Force Unleashed, encompassing a full line of toys and game-based action figures from Hasbro, as well as a full publishing program from Dark Horse, Del Rey and Palace Press.
