It wasn't broken, but now it's a bit dated The saying 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' would have been a fair response when deciding what to do with the next gen Playstation controller, and Sony seems to have agreed for the most part. The PS2 Dual Shock controller was easily the best design of any of its competitors. Unfortunately, Microsoft's mild tweaks to the Xbox controller were brilliant, and Sony's few additions were useless except for the wireless capability, and it even took them a while to get around to bringing back the rumble feature.
Microsoft smartly resisted overhauling their controller and recognized how to perfect the basic design by downsizing, rounding off some hard edges, and moving the black and white buttons as well-sized, nimbly responsive shoulder buttons. The PS3 controller is still a fine controller, and the best one for the Playstation, but Microsoft stepped out of character and actually made a brilliantly improved product (along with the Xbox itself) that now has, to my mind, taken the throne as best designed controller.
This controller coupled with a nice rubbery silicon covering for it makes it the perfect controller for the PS3, just avoid the Six-axis use whenver you can -- more gimmick than benefit. Add a Review

Just my 2 cents There isn't a lot I can add to what others have said in either the pro or con line. But despite it being a yet another remote on my coffee table, I have come to consider it my favorite. I long for the day when all remotes become bluetooth devices and the flawless, no line of sight needed, I'm in another room and it still works -performance that I enjoy with this remote extends to everything else. I'm not sure I get other people's complaints about the number of buttons - I've owned a few DVD players before and the number is pretty much the same as any other. Certainly is better than navigating a DVD/Blu-Ray movie with the PS3 controller! This wasn't my first purchase for a movie/remote solution on my PS3, but I'm very glad it is my last. Add a Review

Groundhog Day Spore is like the movie Groundhog Day. It's an endless repeat of your prior efforts. The game can be summed up in a single sentence:
"Spore is a endless effort in frustration."
Yes, the paranoid 3 activation limit and DRM is crap. But even if this game didn't have that, it would still be a 1 out of 5 rated game. You just never accomplish anything during this game and are stuck in an endless cycle of repetitiveness. There's just no fun to be had with this game and that's too bad, because it could have been so much more.

In first-person shooters, the Nunchuk controller carries the burden of movement, freeing you to aim and fire using a more natural motion with the Wii Remote. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. Best $130 I Ever Spent On A Gift What can I say? It is a Nintendo DS Lite. Kids love them, they are made very well, are very durable and provide an endless amount of various types of fun for kids, teens and adults. The wide array of games available for this handheld system is great and Nintendo fully backs up their products, so no worries there either.
