REVIEW
Do we really need this? As far as the sports packs go this is probably as nice or nicer than the hard plastic ones. First it is a little safer maybe since it is soft foam and it weighs more so it gives a better feel when swinging them. I found it to be a novelty though. I mainly got one because my friend told me the bigger grip was better for the golf games but after after playing with it a few times I doubt I will ever bother putting these on again. I feel like I can play with the remote with the skin that came with it just fine. Maybe little kids will appreciate them more. Mine are only one and two now so maybe I will get some use out of them in a couple of years if Wii II isn't out by then.

Just what I needed. The right price; does the right job. The slightest fault might be that the connections and bonus cables are not gold plated, but this wasn't used on higher end equipment so there was no noticeable visual or audio degradation. I needed an inexpensive video selector that works with component connections and this was just what I needed. The bonus cables made it a great value too.
useless item - When the screen protectors are applied, there is a slight grainy rainbow effect distortion over the image quality of the screen.
- one of the styli fell apart right out of the package
The screen protectors and the styli went straight for the trashcan about 10 minutes after opening the package. The only thing I'll probably still use is the little piece of cloth that I can use to wipe the screen with, even that is low quality polyester.
The Pelican Charge and Core Station for PS3 charges up to two PS3 controllers, 3 times faster than through the USB port.

A Must Have!!!! Great product, I am not a big time gamer but I do play 2-5 hrs a month and to have this charger to keep everything neat and where it belongs is very nice. I also love the fact that it plugs in to the wall and not the system, that way you can charge everything with the system on or off... Oh yeah, plus I can plug my headset in to the charger base (2 ports on side)to charge as well... again no cords hanging out of the front of your system so everything stays nice and neat.

REVIEW
Trigger Trouble The packaging claimed the Pelican Tomahawk was good for all games "land & sea". I tried it on HALO 2. The trigger fire button is programmed to make you jump. So I tried theadvertised built in programming function. This function, fully described in the included, skimpy, manual, is supposed to allow you to change the function of a button to another function that one of the other buttons has. A very inconvenient button had the fire function and I wanted it on the trigger. The programming function did not work. I could not switch the fire to the trigger. I contacted Pelican by web and they did respond to me in less than two days (pretty good). But, all they said was
"The flight stick was not made to be used with halo 2. Only with flying games only. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused."
That does not explain why the programming feature does not work. Nor does it exlpain why the device is touted to work for all games.
In serching the web I have seen posts with the same programming problem I have.
The joystick itself has an adequate , though not great, feel. It is akward to hold and use because the base is light and small. You have to hold it down on a flat surface to used it or hold it with one hand. It is not as solid as I'd like but is servicable. However, if it won't let you fire from the trigger, it is of little value.
This Smart Charge Cable takes the guesswork out of controller charge times. Make sure you know exactly how much charge you have left in your controller before you unplug it. The easily visible charge indicator LEDs on the lead of the cable let you check with a quick glance just how much charge you have left.
Pelican's Nerf Controller for PS2 is made of Nerf material on the outside, providing a new standard in gaming comfort. In addition, it features Pelican's Smart Play Wireless Technology for the ultimate in performance
There's always a catch. Yes, this controller looks really cool, especially when your surroundings are really dark. It's got a playful sci-fi look to it that the kid in you will totally like.
The shoulder buttons are strange. For some games they're an improvement, but for other games you'll find yourself holding your fingers differently than they suggest. So the shoulder buttons have mixed results.
The four action buttons on the right side seem a bit close to the right analog stick. Not a huge deal, but next time I hope they keep that in mind.
The buttons feel solid, the rumbling action is good, and the whole controller feels good all in all. There's just one thing that really upsets me that everyone should be alerted to. Inside the book is an important message reading "WARNING: DO NOT USE AFTERGLOW PRO IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE AIRFLOWtm CONTROLLER FROM NYKO, THE LUMICONtm CONTROLLER FROM MAD CATZ, OR ANY MULTI-TAP FROM ANY MANUFACTURER; IT MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR PLAYSTATION 2 SYSTEM OR YOUR NEW AFTERGLOW PRO CONTROLLER."
To which I respond "WTF?" A controller that can't play with others, or else my entire PS2 might be destroyed? Not cool, not cool at all. So consider yourselves warned.
Terrible product Pelican XBOX 360 Remote - less than 4 foot range!!! This DVD remote (manufactured by Pelican) is defective by design. It only works if you are sitting 4 feet or closer to your XBOX 360. I am certain that this is because of the cheapness of the product but why would Pelican even bother selling a DVD remote at all if the user must stand so close to their XBOX 360 that they could actually push the buttons on the console instead? This kind of defeats the whole purpose of a "remote control" in my opinion. I contacted Pelican to see if they would give me a better product, however, their customer response was completely unsatisfying. Basically, Pelican customer service told me to pay to ship it back to them and include $4 to cover the cost of return shipping - then they would send me another of the exact same remote. Don't buy this!!!
