The smart way to shop This product is great. DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE FOR $100 AT BEST BUY, CIRCUIT CITY, ETC. I can't believe the nerve of these big companies that are selling this product for so much money. If you go into the stores, the sales people will tell you that the more expensive products provide the best graphics. This is completely false. They are all the same. I just bought a cable off of ebay for under $12 with shipping and insurance included. My cable works great...just as great as if I had paid $100 at Best Buy. This is GREAT!!! I am fairly new to the HD arena, but I have done some research on it and finally purchased an 46" LCD 1080P Sharp Aquos just in time for Christmas. Unfortunately, I did not have an HD Player or Blue-Ray Player because I was reluctant to purchase something that might lose to the other format. Well, now the HD war is over and Blue Ray is the victor so I purchased the new Sony Playstation 3 80GB w/ Metal Gear Solid 4 (which is awesome BTW). With this new HDMI cable I am able to see the sharpest image possible on my HDTV. In fact, I watched the movie "Enchanted" and saw all the hairs on the upper lip of Amy Adams as she and Patrick Dempsey kissed. Sorry about that Amy. It has also been great watching some of my regular DVDs on the PS3 with this cable. Right now, I am watching "Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back" and it looks better on my tv than it did when I was nine years old watching it at the theatre in 1980. My experience with this cable is bad. After reading a lot, I purchased this cable to connect PS/3 and 52XBR4 LCD TV. Some how after some usage the display is distorted and when I replaced a cheap cable which I bought for few cents from amazon worked far batter than cable. Can you believe it ? Don't be tricked into paying over a hundred dollars for one of these... Although this one is still a little pricey, it is half the cost of a majority of these cables. It is very solid and durable and I've had no problems with it so far. This will output 1080p from your PS3 to your HDTV(if your TV supports it). If that is what you are looking for then you should purchase this. However, you can find cheaper ones if you really look. This one seemed like the best choice to me and I have no regrets!
