Dole Food Company, Inc. is an American-based agricultural multinational corporation headquartered in Westlake Village, California and is the leading grower and packer of such food items as bananas, pineapples (fresh and packaged), grapes, strawberries, and other fresh and frozen fruits. It is a leader in ready-to-eat packaged salads and other vegetables. Dole was founded in 1851 in Hawai?i as Hawaiian Pineapple Company by James Dole, who opened his first pineapple plantation in the central plateau of the Hawaiian island of O?ahu. Today the company does business in over 90 countries and takes in upwards of $5.3 billion in annual revenue. It is owned by billionaire David H. Murdock. The Hawaiian Pineapple Company was later acquired by Castle & Cooke, and was renamed to Dole Food Company, Inc in 1991. Castle & Cooke Inc, a real estate company, was spun off in 1995; it is currently a separate company but is also owned by Murdock. Dole incorporates the Standard Fruit Company, which was acquired by Castle & Cooke between 1964 and 1968. It was then the U.S.'s second largest producer and importer of bananas. Dole and Chiquita remain the top two U.S. banana companies. Historically, the Hawaiian Pineapple Company had a hand in the hostile overthrow of Hawaii's last queen, Lili uokalani, and the establishment of Hawaii as a U.S. territory. Sanford Dole, the cousin of James Dole, was briefly president of the Republic of Hawaii in the years immediately following the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy, in 1893. [3] Dole Food Company, Inc. is member of the SA8000 Social Accountability International (SAI). Dole also has a plantation in the Philippines and a packing plant in Thailand. PepsiCo holds the rights to Dole's entire juice line. Mascot Dole Plantation Pineapple MazeBobby Banana is a mascot of Dole Food Company. He is an anthropomorphic banana character, who appears in print as well as (at one time) foam incarnations. A foam figure of Bobby Banana was produced for some time, which was eventually discontinued. Dole in pop culture Dole stickers could be seen on bananas in the first three games of the Super Monkey Ball series. The Guinness Book of World Records (2001) lists the pineapple maze at the Dole Plantation in Oahu, Hawaii as the world's largest maze.[4] View from Bus

"Knowing Me, Knowing You" is a hit single recorded by Swedish pop group ABBA. The song was written by Stig Anderson, Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, with the lead vocal sung by Anni-Frid Lyngstad. It features on the group's album "Arrival", and the "ABBA Gold: Greatest Hits compilation". The song has remained popular in the years since it was released. "Knowing Me, Knowing You" is also featured in the Mamma Mia! musical. "Knowing Me, Knowing You" was recorded in 1976 at the Metronome studio in Stockholm, and released in February 1977, becoming one of the group's most successful singles. The B-side was "Happy Hawaii," an arrangement of another ABBA song, "Why Did It Have to Be Me", but with a different lead vocalist and lyrics. "Knowing Me, Knowing You" was one of the first ABBA songs to deal with the breakup of a relationship, though with an upbeat quality to the music. It predates the divorces of the ABBA members, as well as further breakup songs to come: "The Winner Takes It All", "One of Us" and "When All Is Said And Done". Group member Benny Andersson named "Knowing Me, Knowing You" as one of ABBA's best recordings in a 2004 interview, along with "Dancing Queen", "The Winner Takes It All" and "When I Kissed the Teacher". "Knowing Me, Knowing You" was yet another smash hit on the charts worldwide, hitting No.1 in the UK, Ireland, West Germany, South Africa and Mexico, and reaching the Top 3 in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland and the Netherlands. It was also a Top 10 hit in Norway, New Zealand, Australia and France. In the United States, "Knowing Me, Knowing You" became ABBA's sixth Top 20 single, peaking at No.14. "Knowing Me, Knowing You" was also the first in the second in a series of chart-topping singles for ABBA in Britain (continuing with "The Name of the Game" and "Take a Chance on Me"), coming after the group scored three number-ones in the UK in 1976. According to United World Chart, "Knowing Me, Knowing You" was the second best selling single globally for 1977. Here, the music video subtitled for you to share and enjoy.
