REVIEW
Rabbid mayhem continues Raving Rabbids TV Party has many of the same type of mini games that was present in the previous game-they have just been revamped with a new theme. There is quite a range of games available when you start and you can pick your order of games. Use of the wii board is a available in some mini games which add a new element of fun and makes some games a bit more challenging. i.e you can guide your character in a sledding game, dance, or fly through space. These games also allow you to use the wii mote instead of the wii board. Overall, a fun party game to have especially if you enjoyed Rabbid2.
Rayman Raving Rabbids is the edgiest and most off-the-wall gaming experience in the history of the Rayman franchise. This new Rayman game features the funniest, zaniest, wackiest antics ever when hordes of nasty bunnies invade Rayman's world. They enslave him, forcing Rayman to participate in a series of gladiator-like trials. In order to win his freedom, Rayman must entertain and outwit these crazed, out-of-control bunnies.

Welcome to a new generation of Rayman You'd be hard-pressed to find a game with as much character as Rayman Raving Rabbids. From the creative minigames to the quirks of the bunnies, this game packs an immense amount of entertainment on one disc. It's rare in games that failing during a competition can bring you as much joy as actually succeeding, but Rayman Raving Rabbids does an admirable job of rewarding your failure with a large dose of comic screams, flying plungers and crossed eyes.
Of course, the point is to succeed and not let the bunnies laugh at your failure. Rayman RavingRabbids may have a lot of style but it has very little plot. Each level consists of four minigame challenges and one "boss battle," so to speak. If you complete at least three of the minigames, the main gate opens, allowing you to take on a greater challenge. Once you play a minigame in the Story Mode, you unlock that minigame and can play it at any time and against friends.
Exercise your Wii Remote Hand it to Ubisoft's development crew as they really took advantage of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers' capabilities. Some minigames are as simple as twirling the Wii Remote like a lasso and pushing a button to launch a cow as if you were in a hammer throw competition. Some minigames really test your coordinating, asking you to swing the Nunchuk like a jump rope and flicking the Wii Remote up to make Rayman jump.
Each level has one consistant challege, however: a rhythm game. As a song plays, the bunnies approach a spot on either stage left or right. When they hit that spot, you'll shake the Nunchuk (if the bunny is on the left) or the Wii Remote when the rabbid hits the mark.
When you take on the boss stages, you'll find yourself, more often than not, playing a rail shooter. The Wii Remote becomes your light gun, firing plungers at the horde of oncoming rodents. When your plunger supply runs out, shake the Nunchuk to reload. In recent years, the rail shooter (where you don't control the movement) has been forsaken for the first-person shooter and free movement. The Rayman boss experience will make rail shooter fans rejoice. If other shooters can perform as well as the plunger-fueled firing action of Rayman Raving Rabbids, the genre will come back with a vengeance.
Impressive replay value There's extra incentive to play the many minigames of Rayman Raving Rabbids. When you complete a game in Challenge Mode, the game gives you a code that you can enter at the Rayman Web site which basically gives you access to special features on the site.
The minigames of Rayman Raving Rabbids skew toward a younger audience, and at first, an above-average gamer should find the games to be pretty easy. However, once the minigames are unlocked,a big challenge awaits you to get the highest scores and blast your friends in multiplayer challenges. That's when the real party begins! Rayman delivers exactly what the Wii promises: fun and lots of it. Here's hoping the bunnies come back for multiple invasions!

Fun game full of imagination My kids LOVE this game! It is full of funny little things to do, like shooting toilet plungers, throwing cows and that kind of stuff - who comes up with this stuff (very funny). It is a game that is for any age, the younger ones get a kick out of seeing what they have to do and the older ones have a challenge trying to get through everything. I wasn't sure what I would think of this game but my girls (8 and 14) really enjoy it..
The mischievous bunnies are back in a hilarious sequel that is guaranteed to be even crazier and funnier than the first - and with even more wacky games! They've invaded the world of Rayman, and now the insane Rabbids have a new objective: invade planet Earth! They have established their base at a shopping mall and begun training for their nastiest scheme yet. As part of this training, the Rabbids must carry out several missions around the globe to help them in an attempt to dominate the world. The Rabbids will also try to study human behavior by mimicking everything we do, but in the Rabbid sort of way . . . with no logic, of course. Back to battle the Rabbids and stop the invasion is Rayman, who will infiltrate the Rabbids by disguising himself as one of them! Use more than 110 items including skins, hats, accessories, and clothes to dress Rayman, and to create your own Rabbid. Unleash your creativity with over 540,000 customization combinations. ESRB Rated E10 for ages 10 and up
REVIEW
Good, but I miss a few things from Rayman 1 I LOVED the first Wii Rayman game. That was probably the most fun I'vehad on my Wii to date and I was so happy when I finished it. Being a little Rayman'ed out, I waited several months before getting Rayman 2.
It's defintely easier to play, but I miss a few things.
Pros:
1) Much faster gameply, you don't have to finish all the games to advance to the next level like in Rayman 1.
2) WAAAY better multiplayer. This is multi-player game now. I would not even bother with single player mode.
3) The shooting games are blast with the real life video in there.
And multi-player is the way to go.
4) The dancing game is not a music game. This works well for some and not so well for others. My wife was REally good at the old dance game.
On this one, she can barely score at all. On the other hand, being able to play several instruments I pretty much score 80% or better.
CONS
1) There is little to no challenge here. The games are much easier and in my opinion are not as fun as the first Rayman. I progress through the games without any feeling of achievement in finishing a level.
2) As noted. Single player stinks. I miss playing without a partner.
3) Some of the games are REALLY bad. Some are good, and there are some classics here, but most of these are so-so. I like the cell phone one the most so far. Shoot games are amazing, though.

Fun Game I bought 2 copies of this game for my kids to eliminate them fighting over "who borrowed it last". This game kept an 11 and 9 year old busy and laughing for hours in the car. Not once did I hear "are we there yet?"
Silly cartoon violence and wacky fun abound.
Rayman Raving Rabbids brings you back to the world of Rayman, just as it's being threatened by demonic rabbits! With the help of magical creatures, Rayman must battle to save his world from the bunnies. It's a great way for Rayman to punch his way onto a next-gen platforms!

Fun for all ages My husband and I had a blast playing this game. There are over 70 different mini games to play. My husband and I enjoyed it and we are in our late 20's. My only complaint is that it didn't seem long enough. We are waiting on a part 2.

Disappointing One of the launch titles for Nintendo's Wii, Rayman Raving Rabbids helped prove just how fun Nintendo's new console can be. Now that it's made it's way to other systems, the game seemed like a nice fit for the DS considering it's touch screen use. Sadly though, unlike what is basically a fun collection of mini-games like we got for the Wii, Rayman Raving Rabbids for the DS is a basic platformer that doesn't have enough steam to make it anything really special. Playing as the Ubi Soft mascot, you traverse your way in a 2-D side scroller with some 3-D backgrounds as you avoid the insane Rabbids and other hazzards. While the Rabbids are still deliriously funny and Rayman himself has a nice set of moves and abilities, the game at it's core is a generic side scrolling platformer with touchy controls, shoddy looking graphics, and the game's short length doesn't help either. Now and then between levels, you'll get to partakein mini-games that offer the nice amounts of fun you'd hope to find here, but it doesn't last long. That being said, Rayman Raving Rabbids isn't a bad game at all, but there's nothing about it that sets it apart from other platformers either, and it's nowhere near as fun as the Wii version.

How do you spell cool? Rayman Raving Rabbids!!! This game is very entertaining and funny. It's funny because the bunnies are just plain DUMB:) For example, one mini game is you have to poke a bunnies brain. It's like a memory game. The game itself isnt like the others. The other games are adventure. This is a mini-game game. It's very fun though. Also there are costumes. There are 4 minigames in a session. To move on, you need to beat 3. Beat all of them, and you get a music track or an outfit. This game is very funny. Don't listen to those bad reviews. This game rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Another buggy game from Ubisoft If you have a platform I would *STRONGLY* recommend you buy it for that instead of for XP. My first copy of the disk gave errors during the install (bad disk).
The second copy worked to install and then I had problems with jade enr.exe crashing on game start. Since on the Ubisoft forums 15000 other people viewed this topic before it was closed I'm sure this is quite common. I followed the instructions online (basically cracking my legally bought disk) to get it working.
I thought my problems were over until I started playing. The game can't do simple math. In several of the games it adds up the score wrong making it impossible to beat several of the games.
I've contacted Ubisoft several times and received nothing of use back. There is no mention of future patches to fix the problem or even anything to fix the issue. This is the last Ubisoft game I'll buy until they improve their quality.
Check out the forums at Ubisoft regarding this game. You'll see how many problems their are.

Boring, uninspired platformer Rayman has usually had a good track record over the past few years, and when Rayman Raving Rabbids was released on the launch of the Wii, it helped show what Nintendo's new system was capable of. It has been subsequently released on other systems with varying results, and now it's on the GBA too. Trading the collection of whacky mini-games for a tried but true platformer, Rayman Raving Rabbids is boring and uninspired, which is quite disappointing considering Ubi Soft's mascot has made for some good adventures on the GBA. The best feature of the game is that Rayman himself looks great and there are colorful and fluid graphics throughout, but beyond that the game is a dud. The game's 25 stages are relatively easy to get through and offer little in the way of a challenge or decent level design either. The platforming elements are marred by sloppy control mechanics, and the whacky Rabbids that made the console versions so great are hardly used to their extent here. Not to mention that the mini-games, which the console versions relied upon so much to make them so good, are shortened in between stages and aren't nearly as fun as anything to be found on the other versions as well. All in all, Rayman Raving Rabbids is an overly boring and uninspired platformer that doesn't nearly do the character the justice it should. Plus, with so many other, superior, platformers available for the GBA, this is better left on the shelf.
