Not for children! I used to play horror video games such as Resident Evil, Parasite Eve, and many others. However, all those games are baby games compared to this one. Eternal Darkness is in a whole other level of horror games. The graphics are decent, and the gameplay is ok. But the real deal is the horror experience. Sometimes you see blood coming out of the walls, a bunch of enemies surround you, your character's head suddenly blows up, the t.v.'s volume is turned down, and many other things. All of this stuff are things that happen in the game to make you feel fear, but they just disappear. The storyline is one of the best I've ever seen. This game may not have excellent graphics and the gameplay may not be the best; but if you're looking for a horror game, then Eternal Darkness is the best choice. I remember I used to play this game around 1:00 A.M., that is the perfect time to play this game and feel its creepiness. I really recommend this game for those hardcore gamers, it is worth it the money and the time you spend playing it.

Great graphics andsound; OK storyline I was intrigued by the game's premise--of a war going beyond simply humans and aliens. While it does deliver angelic combat, it doesn't offer enough.
The graphics are some of the best I've seen--especially the human enemy soldiers. The sound is likewise very, very good--unlike in other games, as characters approach you, their footsteps actually get louder. The action is very fast-paced and the enemies, mortal and demonic, move quickly and cunningly.
The biggest disappointments are the very-standard weapons--automatic rifle, grenade and missile launchers, rail gun. And some of the angelic powers are hard to use or don't seem to have any effect at all. Also, I wanted to more combat/activity against/with the evil supernatural villains. If I wanted to spend time killing evil soldiers and robots, I would have bought another game.
On the other hand, some of them are simply awesome. As Malachi, you can slow time down, run around your opponents, rain down fire and brimstone on them, raise the dead to fight on your side, and more.
Overall very fun, but not as inventive as it could have been.

Very fun, Very fun, and did i mention very fun? This game is great. You play as a predator who can really kick butt, blow up a tank, and be home for dinner. Your main enemies are soldiers, alien warrior, and later you fight predaliens. This game is short but has a lot of replayability. This game is prabably worth 30 bucks but if your a fan like me youll think its worth it. Go slice an alien with your new toy!!

I feel Holy Contented!!! I read many a review from all over web space and I am deeply dissappointed by many non-contented players. Why cannot they see the beauty of the game? I see beautiful graphics in this game that make it even as good as unreal. The AI is superb, I really enjoy the sprites ability to retreat and then counter-attack in greater numbers just like unreal. This game has super replay-ability and anyone wanting super FPS fun should not pass this game by; It is definetly a sleeper hit. This game is fun, Plain fun. Just do not let shallow game players, probably born with stupid imaginations, from discontenting you away from a great game like Requiem. Enjoy.
