Useful If you plan to watch DVDs with your PS3, this remote comes in handy. As others have noted, it does not have a power on/off button and the buttons are difficult to see in low light conditions so I cannot give it 5 stars. However it is much better than using the dualshock controller for viewing DVDs which requires a few steps of button pushing just to pause, rewind or do other functions. I like it a lot! Watching Blu-ray movies with the PS3 game control was awful (It really sucked!). That's why I thought they might have a "DVD like" control, and they did!!
What a difference, if you use your PS3 to watch Blue-Ray's you have to have this.
