Using The Wii Force When it comes down to the Nintendo Wii, many gamerslove the way we can play our games. But, for Star Wars fanatics, they really want to feel like they are using the force on the Wii, because of the acclaim of the new Star Wars: The Clones video game. The Thrustmaster Glow Sabers for the Wii, which were designed specifically for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, bring in a excitement of gameplay on the Wii that hard core Jedi's had wanted, but there honestly here is a lot of limitations with the sabers. While the efforts of seeing them glow in the dark, make it exciting for Wii gamers, they are very clunky, and are hard to control when playing the game. While they cost around $30 for the Wii, they just don't completely feel like you are using the force with the Wii.

The only HOTAS for serious Flight Simmers I've had my Cougar for just over a month, and it is quite a departure from the Saitek controllers I've used for the past 7 years. I've worn out 2 X-36s and an X-45 over that time. Several folks in my virtual wing have used their same Cougar for that same amount of time, so the extra expense of a Cougar over multiple disposable Saiteks is a great bargain.
This HOTAS works flawlessly as long as you install/setup correctly. I suggest you visit http://cougar.frugalsworld.com/ for the updated software and proper installation and setup instructions.

PS
I also bought CH Pro Pedals along with the Cougar, and they work together with no problems.
Today more and more game launches for the Wii are retro hits or golden oldies originally created for the likes of Nintendo NES, Nintendo Super NES, Nintendo, 64 and Nintendo GameCube. Thrustmaster has created a game pad that will allow gamers to use one game pad for multiple genres of games. The T-Wireless NW is the first programmable and vibrating wireless gamepad allowing users to play Virtual Console, GameCube and Wii games on the Wii! It uses 2.4GHz wireless technology which provides a very respectable 10 meters range. Wireless play is the buzz word in gaming today! The T-Wireless NW is fully programmable thanks to the "Mapping" function which allows users to reassign all buttons, mini-sticks and the D-pad to ensure a truly customized gaming experience. There are also two functions which will really help gamers maximize their gaming experience: "Slow" which allows the player to slow down action and "Turbo" which means the player only needs to press a button to get a power boost rather than making multiple and rapid thumb presses. To top it all off, this gamepad has great ergonomics with a shape that is natural to hold. The rubber coated handles and joysticks ensure superior grip and comfort too.

Great alternative to the wavebird... I wanted a controller to use with the wii system for my old gamecube games. I was considering the wavebird controller (which is still around $30!), but then I saw this guy. Very comfortable to use, smaller and more stylish than the wavebird. My only issue was that the buttons aren't in the same places as on the original gamecube controller, that takes some getting used to. Battery life is around 10-11 hours, so be sure to use rechargeable AAA's. Be sure to read the manual to understand everyting this thing can do, since there aresome options for customizing button functions. Overall a really great buy!

5-Axis, Force Feedback Racing Wheel with Clutch Pedal
REVIEW
This could have been a great wheel My black MOMO died, pedals quit working, so I needed a new wheel. I've had good luck with thrustmaster wheels in the past so I bought the Pro Clutch Edition. Basic setup was easy. I have two basic problems with the new wheel. First and worst is the mounting of the wheel to the desk. For the life of me I can't tighten the clamp enough to keep the wheel from "rocking back and forth" when you use it in a game. This is very disconcerning when trying to race. Its like trying to race with a tilting wheel that wont lock in place. My other complaint is with the software that comes with the wheel. There is no way of assigning the buttons to any of the F-Function keys. I play the NASCAR 2003 game and you use the F-keys ALOT during race. Another irratation is setting up to use the clutch pedal. I managed to make it work once, but next time could not make it work. Its on the same axis as the brake and there is no way to split it off.
I really thought this was going to be a great wheel for me, but I would have been just as well off the buy a much simpler, cheaper wheel.

Not my favorite product. The Thrustmaster Ferrari GT 2-in-1 Rumble Force Racing Wheel gave us one week of racing before falling apart. Fifty dollars is a lot to spend for one week's enjoyment. The quality is poor and the plastic snaps easily. If you are looking for a racing wheel, it would behoove anyone to shop around for something else. It might not be as inexpensive, but it probably won't be as cheap, either.

Dual Trigger 3-IN-1 Gamepad I got this to play EA Sports NHL 08 on my PC. It works great and the mapping functions are easy to use. Plus the triggers are great for NHL08. Before I got this I was using an AlienWare gamepad, but the right analog stick was screwed up(although its orientation was fine in Windows, up responded as left, down responded as right, left responded as up, and right responded down) within the game. The Thrustmaster works perfectly fine. Highly recommended.

Good racing wheel. Great racing wheel for the price. I ordered this last week for playing GRID on my PS3. When I took it out of the box, I was a little worried because the wheel is so small compared to one I had for my Xbox. But after clamping it to a table and firing up GRID, my worries are gone. The choice I had was between this wheel for $30 or a Logitech wheel for $150. I'm not sure what a $150 wheel does for you but this one works well with my PS3, will work with my Wii, and makes playing GRID much more fun.

OH THE HORROR While others love Thrustmaster, I made the mistake of trying their low end model first. After returning it to COMPUSA for another cause it wouldn't connect via the USB, the second one wouldn't either. Needless to say this one doesn't work either.BAD BAD BAD WEBSITE SUPPORT TOO!!!
