Thomas S. Harbin, Jr. Not much content. Two dollars is not much but so is this manuscript! Nothing more than promotional piece for what is a terrific product. Unecessary, misleading, and inaccurate. There are many great things about the Kindle but this is not one of them.

T. Great for 1st Time Dads My husband has really enjoyed this book. He likes to know what's going on with baby and me. I enjoy him sharing little tidbits with me also. I've been dreaming of this book since I first heard about it months ago. I meant to pre-order it right way, and then kept meaning to do it but didn't actually DO so until a friend reminded me in her post - I can't believe I came that close to not getting my copy of the Grammar Girl book on the release date! Rest assured, I managed to pre-order and get it on time.........
Yes, Grammar Girl has a podcast, a website, and a twitter account - she rocks. But I was dying for her book to come out so I could have it next to my laptop for every writing question I have and dog-ear it when sitting on the couch or in the car - all the things I love "paper" (with Kindle around, I have to make that distinction!) books for. I often use GG's website to search for answers but I have to admit I don't often actually LISTEN to her podcasts, although I always mean to (my head is noisy enough, I don't listen to very much these days.)
Anyway, now I have the book and you should too.
So why write about it? Most people reading this are professionals of some sort, many are educators and many are writers and we ALL need help with grammar and usage - Grammar Girl (Mignon Fogarty) just makes it a lot easier and lot more fun than my MLA Handbook or Gregg Reference Guide do. I did read every chapter as our first son grew (born 7 years ago). Each chapter cover the growing stages of babies: birth to one month, one to three months, etc, plus some specific chapters, including feeding, toys, growing mile stones, etc. The book says pretty much the same information as our sons' pediatrician say. I re-read the book for my newborn again, every chapter.

great horse Alpha males don't care about typos Never seen so many typos in a book but it didn't bother me at all. In fact it even works fine within the context of this amazing book. I wish I could disagree with the female assessment however, having had considerable experience in the "Field" myself, I have seen many of these beotches in action up close and personal. I wish I had read it sooner. There is tons of good info in this book. But for me the real selling point is that it is fun as hell to read. I found myself laughing so muchthat people wanted to know what I was reading. "Oh just this really great book on feminism that points out how awful us men are, in a funny way of course (BARF)".

Saute chuck roast in a dash of oil until both sides all dark brown (about 2 minutes on each side on high). Combine all other ingredients into a large stew pot or crock-pot.
