Why the classic controller? 'Cause Nintendo finally saw fit to release one of my top 5 SNES games this week on the Virtual Console - Super Mario RPG. :)

now containing the wiimote, nunchuck, classic controller and the nyko perfect shot. Mods include A backlight, nunchuck backlight, and now the rumble light has been moved to the speakers a la www.wiimotemods.com/?p=11

and the B button rumble (though I'm turning it into another A light, so the glow doubles when it rumbles) from www.instructables.com/id/Wiimote-B-button-rumble-mod/ with white LEDs (to keep it classy). I call it "vintage punk".

The wood may be faux sticker sheets or actual veneer, I'm still working on the logistics of that (as much as I would love real wood, but that millimeter thickness might interfere with some add-ons. For example, i use the Nyko charger, which, though awesome, doesn't quite work with the Wii Zapper. But i just may build a better zapper anyway.

And you can't see it from this angle, but the C and Z buttons should have paneling just like the B button.

Pink so you can tell which controller's mine, bitches :P I played Wii pretty much all of Sunday. I got the original Paper Mario on the virtual console. Those games are so addictive!! I had to pull myself away from the couch.

Btw, just finished playing Super Metroid with it. Had not problems with it at all, despite it feeling a bit strange at first.

I found my Wii during a midnight visit to Wal-Mart in December 2006, back when it was still very hard to find one of 'em. It's actually not plugged into my TV right now, which is a shame, but the 360 and PS3 just have more to offer ATM. Besides, we have another one in the living room...

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT it actually converts the classic controller into something relatively comfortable to use. Sometimes I think Nintendo only caters to hamsters...

The clip that holds the Wiimote on is somewhat unwelcome, at least for people with large hands... like me. Sure it holds the wiimote but it takes up space where fingers would be. Also most of the wiimote buttons are covered. It also adds a little weight to the controller. No, its not heavy, but a light controller is nice.
