As comfortable as it is functional
The Wii Remote is equally comfortable in right and left hands and houses just the right number of buttons for gaming- not so many that new players will get confused, but enough so that Wii games don't feel constrained. On the face of the remote are the D (or "plus") pad, a large "A" button which is used for major on-screen actions, and two small options buttons. Between the game buttons are a plus and minus buttons (which often act as "forwards" and "back"), as well as a "Home" button to engage the Wii home screen tochange settings or check remote battery levels. On the back side of the controller is a trigger-like "B" button, perfect for timing releases of a bowling roll in Wii Sports.
Thankfully, battery life is excellent with the two included AA batteries, just as with the previous generation of Nintendo wireless controllers.
Immersive intelligence
Along the bottom of the Wii Remote, four blue LED lights indicate which player position the remote is currently set to. The controller automatically connects to the Wii console via Bluetooth wireless technology. Below the LEDs, an expansion port lets you connect a number of devices including the Nunchuck and Classic controllers for Virtual Console gaming (Virtual Console games and controller accessories sold separately). Other features of the Wii Remote include adjustable rumble force-feedback and a reinforced wrist strap to ensure safe use. A speaker inside the remote gives the player feedback about the strength of swings or the accuracy of their moves- such as realistic tennis noises as the "racket" connects with the ball in Wii Sports. Overall, the physical design of the remote is extremely sturdy and of very high quality, ensuring countless hours of Wii gaming fun!
EGAD1 "morris" Never want to go back to classic controllers. The Wiimote is an amazing controller. It might be a little expensive but in my book its worth it. It is epsecially fun when you have a FPS(first person shooter)Like metroid prime 3. I promise you once you play a FPS with a Wiimote you will never want to go back to a classic controller. This is not all of the controller though the other half ,for more complicated games, is the nunchuk that plugs into the bottom of the Wiimote or you can get a wireless nunchuk but thoughs are expensive. There is also the classic controller for old games you can get of off the Wii shop channell although you wont need that unless you by those old games.

Emilio Good product They are very nice covers for the remotes...and they help to grip the remote better so that it ensures they do not slip out of your hand. Certainly convenient considering our son has launched it a few times withought the cover on it and has not yet with the covers on.

Videogamer25 Shame on Nintendo for not building the Classic Controller like this to begin with It's cheap and makes the controller less awkward and more comfortable to use. Personally, I didn't quite like how it felt with the wiimote stored in the center (not quite as much room to grip the classic controller), but I really don't mind having the wiimote on my lap. Overall, well worth the $5.

Princess Frustrating at best! Each time we tried to put one of these on they would rip at different points along the way. I think we ended up with 3 out of 8 still intact and the rest went in the trash, not worth the hassle of sending back!
FrAnkrYzzO Perfect if you already have a nunchuk This product works perfectly for those that already have a nunchuk and don't want to spend another 35.00 to get one of the new wireless ones. It is made with the quality you would expect from a Nyko Wii accessory. The cord wraps perfectly around the base and is tucked away. The dongle fits tightly into the base of the Wiimote, but you have to hold in the release buttons and push hard to get it in all the way. The biggest complaint that I had about the corded nunchuk is that it didn't have any weight to it. Now it feels like you're holding something in your hand. The joystick shape is very comfortable and sits nicely on your leg or the armrest of your chair when playing games that don't utilize the motion controls. Finally I can play games without using the corded nunchuk that was obviously designed with a childs armspan in mind.

Paul A. Ryder Sleek look, nice price, but doesn't work. I ordered this product for my son to use with the wii game Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It seemed like a cool thing to attach to the wii remote and looked very sharp online. However, when he tried to use it with the game it didn't work.
The reason this is isthat the sword blocks the wii remote's sensor so that you can only use the sword if you stop every few seconds to unattach it with the remote. I really wanted my son to like this product but I was sorely dissapointed. Don't even spend the money.
They are clear and fit the controller perfectly. The jackets have ripples on the sides so they do not slide out from your hands. In case they do slip out, the jackets provide extra padding on the end to protect the remotes from damage. They are especially good for kids who like to fling their controllers around or accidently drop them.
